After-Hours (VKOOK)

𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟷𝟷: 𝙱𝚘𝚗𝚏𝚒𝚛𝚎

Namjoon looked over at Jin as he got home with the rest of the group, excluding Yoongi. Jimin left to go upstairs, as the others sat in the living room. Namjoon and Jin walked over to the kitchen, "So you were talking about a bonfire tonight right?" Jin asked Namjoon as he looked at him. Namjoon nodded while holding Jin's hand, "Yeah we could all use a little more relaxation, it's been a little tense lately." Joonie said as he sighed and smiled. "I'm glad that i have you by my side though baby." He said as Jin softly blushed and giggled. 

Jin giggled as he looked at Namjoon and softly pecked him on the cheek. "I love you Joonie..should we tell the others about the bonfire yet?" He asked as Namjoon nodded, "Sure, you can tell them now while i go get Jimin and possibly Yoongi. Namjoon kissed Jin briefly before walking upstairs and knocking on Jimin's bedroom door. Jimin opened the door in a T-shirt and sweatpants, his hair still damp as he was drying it off with a towel. "Hi hyung, what do you need?" He asked as he smiled. Namjoon told him about the bonfire and suggested that he bring Yoongi as well, heading back downstairs afterwards.

Jimin walked over to Yoongi's bedroom door, hesitating before he softly knocked on the door.  Yoongi heard the knock and quietly got out of bed, walking over to the door quietly. He opened it barely just enough to see Jimin's face, "Yes?" He muttered out quietly. "U-um i wanted to see if you'd come to tonight's bonfire with me? W-well not with me obviously! B-But i meant..like, as friends?" Jimin said nervously as he looked down at his hands. Yoongi softly blushed as he watched how flustered Jimin was, "I'll come." He said as he watched Jimin's face light up. 

Yoongi closed the door and went to go shower and get ready quickly, wanting to look presentable. He knew that he shouldn't be, but he was very excited that Jimin invited him. Jimin was quietly dancing around in the hall happily before walking into his room to fix himself up. 

---Timeskip to 8pm

Jin stood up from his chair and thanked everyone for coming to the bonfire. Namjoon was helping Hoseok get the grill started for Jin, who was planning on cooking burgers and hot dogs for them. Jungkook and Taehyung were softly cuddling and kissing while sitting in the soft grass. Jimin was sitting alone as he waited for Yoongi to come outside, looking over at the backdoor repeatedly. Each time hoping that he'd see Yoongi walking down the steps. He started to get worried as he looked down at his lap, sighing. 'I guess he isn't coming.' He thought to himself as he closed his eyes.

Yoongi walked outside quietly as he spotted Jimin and walked over to him. "I'm here." He muttered out lowly, still loud enough for Jimin to catch it. The younger male looked up at him with a bright blush, "Y-Yoongi..you're here!" He said as he smiled brightly and pat the chair next to him. "I got a chair for you!" He said as he looked up at him. Yoongi softly hummed with a slight smiled forming on his face as he sat down. Yoongi didn't know what to do or say as he looked at the grass quietly. Jimin slowly mustered up the courage to speak, "S-so i wanted to talk to you. I really-" "Hey Yoongi! You finally left the house for once huh?" Hoseok interrupted as he walked over to the two and leaned down to hug Yoongi.

Yoongi slowly hugged him back as he smiled timidly. Jimin looked down at his hands nervously as he just quietly sighed. Hoseok looked over at Jimin with a soft hum, "Yah..Yoongi hyung, is he bothering you?" He whispered into Yoongi's ear. Jimin still heard it though, closing his eyes as he felt really bad. Yoongi quietly shook his head as Hoseok nodded and pat his head, walking away to go mess with Jin. 

Yoongi looked over at Jimin, "Sorry so..what were you saying before?" He asked as he looked at him. Jimin looked at Yoongi and slowly looked back down, "U-um..never mind it was nothing." He said, frowning as he sighed. Yoongi softly frowned and looked at Jimin, quietly admiring him before sighing. "Okay." He said as he as he looked at the grass, lost in thought again. 

Namjoon and Jin eventually managed to cook for everyone, soon announcing that the food was ready. Jimin stood up and smiled, "I'll get you a plate okay?" He said to Yoongi who softly blushed and nodded, looking over at Jimin. "No pickles-" "No pickles, no onions, and a Strawberry Sprite..i remember." Jimin said with a soft smile as he looked over at Yoongi. The older male's blush darkened as he looked away, making Jimin quietly giggle. As Jimin was walking over to the table Hoseok loudly shouted, "Here you go hyung! One burger with no pickles or onions, a side of fries, and your favorite Strawberry Sprite." 

Jimin looked over at the two and he quietly looked down, frowning as he sighed. Yoongi looked over to Jimin and saw the sadness on his face, feeling bad he sighed and looked at Hoseok. "Thank you but, i want Jimin to make my plate if you don't mind." He said as he looked over to JImin. "Jimin! Are you just gonna stand there or are you going to make a plate?" He asked loudly as the younger softly blushed and started moving again. Hoseok softly glared at Jimin before walking over to his own seat, deciding to eat the plate that was supposed to be for Yoongi.

Jungkook noticed how Hoseok stormed off, "Tae..do you think something is going on between Yoongi and Hoseok?" He asked the man who was currently shoveling fries down his mouth. Taehyung paused as he swallowed the fries, "Hm? No why? Yoongi isn't over Jimin yet so he wouldn't do that. Hoseok however, might have a crush on Yoongi hyung." Jungkook quietly nodded as he hummed and laid his head on Tae's shoulder, sipping his coke quietly.

The bonfire was very bright when it was first lit, Hoseok and Taehyung would dance around the bonfire screaming nonsense like idiotic cavemen. Jungkook scoffed at Taehyung's weird shouts but he was still giggling quietly while Namjoon was just worried that one of the fools would trip into the fire. Jin walked over to Namjoon and softly kissed him on the cheek, "Should we announce it now?" He whispered quietly as he smiled. Namjoon softly nodded as he grabbed Jin's hand and pulled him over to the chairs. "Everyone! Please gather around, Jin and I have an announcement." 

The members all gathered at their chairs, waiting quietly for the couple to speak. "Today, our marriage papers were finally accepted and legalized. We're officially married!" Namjoon said as he smiled happily and pecked Jin's lips. Everyone started clapping and cheering for the two while Hoseok chimed in, "Congrats! Now we're just waiting for Jungkook and Taehyung to get married." Giggling softly as he watched Jungkook's face redden. Taehyung softly smirked as he pulled Jungkook closer and kissed him softly, "Get a room." Yoongi said as he scoffed at the two. 

Jimin lightly giggled at Yoongi's comment, looking over at him with a small smile. The chilly air started rolling in as the others went back to doing their own things, Jimin quietly talking to Yoongi. "So..I'm really sorry Yoongi. I should've never taken advantage of your love for me. I honestly miss you so much and I really do love you. I'm going to change because i really need you. You feel like a part of me and losing you has made me really open my eyes. Could you please forgive me? I would..i would like to take you out tomorrow, and show you that I'm loyal for you. 

Yoongi listened to Jimin quietly with a soft tint of pink on his cheeks, "Jimin...I-" "Yoongi~" Hoseok called out loudly. "Yoongi you wanna dance? I really wanna dance with you!" He said as he smiled brightly at Yoongi, ignoring Jimin. "Actually, Hoseok. I was talking to Jimin so..maybe later." He said as he smiled timidly and looked back at Jimin. "But why? I mean he's hurt you so many times yet you still talk to him. Why? Is he blackmailing you?" Hoseok said with a bitter tone while side-eyeing Jimin. Jimin looked down and sighed as he closed his eyes, "Hoseok." "No! Yoongi i will not let him hurt you again! You should be with someone who appreciates you and loves you, ME!" He interrupted as he looked at Jimin. "I won't let a selfish brat break your heart again, he doesn't deserve you at all." 

Jimin felt tears running down his cheek as he stood up and ran past Hoseok and Yoongi, into the house. This caught the attention of the others who started to walk over. Yoongi stood up and looked at Hoseok, "I would never be with a person that attacks their own friend just to get what they want." He said as he ran into the house after JImin. 

Jimin and Yoongi ended up crying together and talking through things, eventually Yoongi agreed to go out on a date with the younger. Yoongi also told Jimin that he had a lot of work to do before he could be trusted again. Hoseok was scolded by Namjoon and Jin, Jungkook and Taehyung exclaimed their disappointment as they left the bonfire.
