After-Hours (VKOOK)

The next morning Taehyung was woken up to a frantically packing Jin with an angry Yoongi yelling at him. He sat up in his bed as he groaned and rubbed his eyes, "What time is it?" He muttered out as he felt around the bed for his phone. Yoongi turned to face Taehyung, "It's 2 pm! Two hours AFTER the time we were supposed to leave. Your hyung here slept through his alarm and didn't wake us up!" He shouted as he pointed to the tall male who looked like he'd seen a ghost. Everyone knew that Yoongi's most hated thing was when people missed a deadline. Taehyung quickly got up to get his things together as Yoongi grabbed his own suitcase. "I'm going downstairs to explain to the others as to why we're late." The small male said as he stormed out of the room.

Taehyung found his phone under the covers and saw 50 texts from Jungkook and 10 missed calls. His eyes widened as he read them, Jungkook was angry about Taehyung missing his calls. Tae sighed as he put his phone down and zipped up his bag, grabbing his phone again to leave with Jin.

Jungkook stared at his phone angrily, seeing as his message were read by Taehyung. He scoffed and threw his phone down onto the waiting rooms chairs. He was the only one who volunteered to stay back and wait for him, everyone else on the bus. Soon enough Yoongi was seen exiting the elevator's doors, Jungkook looked up as the older male approached. "Everyone is on the bus." He said as he pointed to the exit doors behind him. Yoongi nodded as he walked past and left the building.

After a good amount of time Taehyung and Jin made it downstairs, meeting an upset Kookie. Jin rushed out of the building, he could tell something was up and he did not want any part of it. Taehyung sat his bags in front of Jungkook's feet, trying to get his attention. "Baby...what's wrong?" Tae asked softly. Jungkook looked up and replied, "You know that i hate being left on read." Taehyung quietly smiled as he sat down beside the younger male, "I'm sorry Kook i was in a hurry to get packed up." Jungkook nodded, "Well, make it up to me, on the bus." He said as he got up and left Taehyung behind. Tae got up with his bags to go outside, met with chaos. Jin and Namjoon were fighting over a seat, Hobi knocked out in the back row of seats, Yoongi trying to squeeze past Jin's broad body to get in the car. Taehyung laughed at the sight, tossing his bags into the trunk before closing it.

They got their seats sorted out finally, but it was a pain. Namjoon was driving, Jin next to him in the passenger's seat. Yoongi and Hoseok in the middle row and Kookie and Tae had the whole back row to themselves. Due to missing the plane, Namjoon called for a roadtrip. They have 48 hours left, until they reach their destination. Kookie was in the process of whispering into Taehyung's ear, and Taehyung was breathing a little heavy. Yoongi heard Jungkook's giggling, but ignored it as he sighed and closed his eyes. He only thought of them as childish, when really they were far from it.

There was a reason for Tae's heavy breathing...
