"Did you drown yourself?" Levi called outside of the bathroom door, knocking on it since it's been an hour now since he left Mikasa to bath on her own. Pulling Furlan away since his friend didn't think it was a good idea to leave a young child to bath alone after a huge shock or awful event in case they drown without noticing it.

"N-No" Mikasa huffed back from inside making Levi raise an eyebrow.

"Are you taking a shit?" Levi asked instead, letting his hand fall back to his side.

"NO! And you shouldn't curse before a girl" Mikasa yelled back, stamping her foot and slapping at the door a little. 

"Look, if you're going to be living with us, you're gonna get use to me cursing a lot more" Levi sighed as he crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. 

"Yeah, you didn't seem much like a prince charming" Mikasa admitted making Levi eyebrow twitch a little. 

"She's got you there" Furlan grinned as he popped his head out from the kitchen earning a glare from Levi.

"Look. It's been an hour and I'm sure you're no longer bathing because the water would be cold by now. Is something wrong with the shirt I lent you?" Levi replied, leaning on the wall beside the bathroom door and waiting for her answer. Out of him and Furlan old shirts they went with his since Furlan old shirts could still be used by Levi making them still rather big on Mikasa. 

"I-I .. promise not to laugh?" Mikasa started to say before lowing her voice and making sure Levi won't laugh at her.

"Look, I think we both know I can't promise that. But, I'll try and make sure I don't over laugh at you. I'll help with whatever is wrong while laughing a little and than we'll pretend it never happened" Levi sighed, he wasn't very good at this looking after a child thing but than again he was still a child himself in the eyes of the laws.

"~~~" Mikasa whispered something to quiet and quick for Levi to catch through the door.

"Try again? Try and speak loud enough for me to hear this time otherwise I'm sending Furlan in" Levi warned as he crossed his arms, turning his head slightly to glance at the wooden door.

"I can't do the buttons" Mikasa weakly admitted, lowing her head in embarrassment. She never had to do many buttons before. Her night dress had none and she just had to pull it over her head. Her dresses only had a single button but it was thick and the hole was big enough for her to slide it through without even thinking. She's never done shirt buttons to do and Levi old shirt was full of buttons. 

"Oh" Levi breathed out, turning a little pale. He did not think that would be the main problem, he was hoping for a simple didn't know how to brush her hair or something. He wasn't expecting a clothing issues .. how was he meant to help with that. Sure, she was just nine but still .. was it okay for a fourteen year old to just walk in to help a naked nine year old get dressed or what! He never had siblings or anyone needing to look after. He's only hanged with Furlan mostly now and he was male just like him, he never needed help with these issues. Sure, if they got hurt they would help undress and patch each other up but they were both guys, it was fine. She was still a girl .. they didn't have a female figure around to help with this.

"Yeah" Mikasa sighed, clearly having the same embarrassed and panicked emotions as him. 

"Furlan! We have a problem ... You're a mother figure .. right?" Levi called out unsure, turning his head towards the kitchen doorway.
