Welcome to the App Lab. This is where most of your coding and fundamentals will be taking place. But first, we are going to talk about the essential part of coding, debugging.
Like an algebraic expression, it sometimes takes multiple tries to find the correct and most accurate answer. Computer Science is just like that in principle, the only difference being that there is no numerous-choice selection that you can plug into a formal to figure out the answer; you have to be able to read the lines as if you are a computer.
Remember from our last lesson, everything that is coded is meant for a computer, in a series of 0s and 1s, not for the human eyes. There is no emotional attachment to the string in your code. Everything is just a value to the computer to either hold or move toward a result.
While debugging, it is vital to remember that fact.
My name is Dr. Savannah Brighton, and this is lesson seven, week two here on Code.org, and today, I will be teaching you the basics of debugging a program.

"But that's just a theory, a film theory..."
Film Theory filled Savannah's eardrums as she glared at the screen mounted onto her wall, the dimmed screen currently displaced her latest MOD project.
