- Code.org !
You are setting a screen, a simple task. And no, I am not just saying this to make you feel better about your Coding future, I'll never lie to you, but it sure would help. You set screens without even realizing it a lot of the time. You send a text to your Mom to pick up pizzas for dinner; you are setting the screen of that conversation to not only appear on your screen but also your Mom's. This can even be taken as far as setting the screen on the cloud.
Remembering from three lessons ago, lesson 2.3, if I remember correctly, we talked about all of our data being stored on a cloud, and no, it's not a real cloud, even though that would be nice. Most of the time, the data the user enters, including but not limited to usernames, passwords, profiles, pictures, posts, etc., this data is held in a physical place—a prominent, cold place, with lots of memory.
My name is Dr. Savannah Brightson, and here at Code.org, you'll be using a much-simplified version called setScreen.
Go on to the next screen to learn how to use our fancy new addition in the App Lab!
