"Hey, Alexa- play Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra."

"Right away, Clay!"

"Again?"

"What can I say, Savannah? I love this song, dance with me!"

"Of course-"

"SAVANNAH, MY LAPTOP IS RUNNING AT 1.3GB RAM!"

"Which laptop? Fundy, couldn't help?"

"Well, Fundy and Wilbur are out getting food, plus Dream is busy? You're smart- pleaseee?"

"Fine."

Savannah took the laptop from Tommy's hands with a huff, "Don't say I've never done anything for you, though."

Looking down at the laptop, Savannah shook her head, "You have 70 tabs open, Tommy- did you think maybe that is the reason?"

"I do not have 70 tabs-" he began to speak but stopped when he looked over Savannah's shoulder to see that she was indeed correct, "-oops."

"Oops is right," Savannah laughed, handing Tommy his laptop back, "Now go set up for your video, or I am not joining."

Tommy saluted her and left the room with a 'Yes ma'am!'

Shaking her head, Savannah looked back down at her notebook where she was currently brainstorming different ideas for her streams. There were only so many other things she could code. She thought taking this break would fill her mind with great ideas, but here she sat, her mind as dry as the Sahara desert.

Nothing flooded through her mind, and it was killing her.

"Savannah? Everything okay?"

Looking up, her eyes met with those of the only one who could calm the storm in her head - "Clay."

He smiled down at her, and in seconds, the clouding feeling in her mind disappeared, "Why don't we take a break from that? I can see the steam coming out of your ears from here."

Shaking her head, Savannah tried to reply before he distracted her by moving the laptop off her lap and onto the coffee table, "No, no, no. Break time- it's gorgeous outside, why don't we take a walk? Maybe grab a cup of tea? How does that sound?"

Clay stood in front of her and reached his hand out, waiting for her to take it. Looking up at his gentle face, she couldn't help but agree. A walk does sound nice, after all, and who knows, maybe it will help her brainstorm an idea or two.

"Okay," Savannah agreed, taking his hand in her own, allowing Clay to guide her out of the house and down the street towards the center of town, "Only because you're so cute looking, though."

Clay laughed at this, not a tiny laugh but one that caused your belly to move up and down. A laugh that Savannah couldn't help but join in on, "What! I thought that was clever," she commented.

"Yes, darling, it was clever- just wasn't expecting it," Clay turned his head towards her, squeezing her hand.

"Not expecting that? Whatever does that mean," Savannah chuckled, looking around their surroundings. The street they were walking down was filled with many stores, which all had their windows decorated with all sorts of holiday cheer.

"You never know with you and that mouth of yours. You're like a little firecracker."

Savannah let out a snort, "That's a first, never been called a firecracker before!"

"No? Well- it looks like we just found your new nickname!" Clay remarked, "Oh look! Coffee shop!" he excitedly said, pulling her into the doors of the coffee shop.

The smell of coffee beans and pure sugar overtook Savannah's nostrils as she looked around at the surprisingly empty store. There couldn't be any more than two couples and maybe one or two workers - Savannah loved it.

A sudden tap on her shoulder caused her to turn around, facing Clay with a confused look, "Yeah?" She admired his face as he gave her a sly smile before he pointed slowly up towards the ceiling, "What are you pointing-"

Savannah answered hwn question before she could finish it. In its green glory, with a beautiful red ribbon attached, hung a mistletoe—a little bell hanging from the bottom of it. The simple existence brought butterflies to Savannah's stomach; she couldn't help but feel flustered, her face surely turning a bright red. "I-I- your point?"

Clay inched closer to her, wrapping his arms around her hips and pulling her closer until their noses almost touched, "Well? You are not going to break a Christmas tradition, are you?" he teased her, the smell of peppermint from his toothpaste filling her nose, only causing more butterflies in her stomach, if that was even possible.

"No- no- of course not."

Meeting his eyes, she slowly leaned in, closing the space between the two.

Moments like these are what keep her up at night, the pure bliss moments where it felt like they were the only ones on the earth. Joyful in all its realness.

Clay and Savannah - a match made in heaven.
