George's POV:

What a beautiful day. It really is fascinating. I walk around the kingdom, watching as birds fly in the sky and butterflies flutter around me. However, there is certain information that is ruining this day. In this kingdom, news spreads fast... especially when it involves the royal family.

Apparently, the prince himself was spotted dangling from his bedroom window. Do people really believe that? I roll my eyes as a group of younger boys talk about it amongst themselves.

"Why would he even be outside of the window?" One of them asked.
"He's probably just crazy! Did you hear all about the stuff people are saying about him?" The biggest one said.

Against my better judgement, I tuned in closer to their conversation and sat down on a bench close to them.

"Yeah I have! They say he started a huge fight with someone in the kingdom, and he got messed up so bad that he started wearing that mask!" Another said. I got kind of angry at his words. The prince seemed like a genuinely nice person. He wouldn't do anything to hurt someone. Then again, I only talked to him once, and I was crying when I did.

The first one who I heard spoke up.

"I thought he's been wearing that mask since he was like our age." He told the others. From what I can see, they looked around 12-14.

"Yeah but still! It probably is linked to a fight or something." The big one said. The guy just replied with an eye roll. I gave a faint grin when I saw that. They started talking about a different topic, so I decided to get up from the bench and continue my walk down the path. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take in much of the environment. I was too focused on the conversation I heard earlier. Was the prince really that bad? Surely not... right?

I try shaking it off as I entered the bakery. I was able to scrape up enough coins to buy some bread. I walk up to the counter and order a loaf. I take in the lovely scent of freshly baked bread coming from the bakery. I wouldn't hate working here...

As I pay for the bread I start talking to the girl who was working. "Are you guys hiring by any chance? I've been looking for a job somewhere." I tell her. She nods her head. "We have a spot for a baker right now. You can talk to Ralph if you'd like. He's out back." She informs me. I thank her and go to see Ralph. Knowing him, I get nervous as I turn the corner and run into him.

"What are you doing back her? You guys are suppose to stay up front!" He growls me. "I-I was wondering if I could work here?" I nervously tell him. He looks at me before sighing. "Can you bake?" He asks me.

"I never really tried it, but I'm sure I'll catch on quickly!"
He looks at me once more. "Normally, I'd say no, but we really need someone..." He seems to think over what he was originally thinking. "...Oh alright. You, here, every weekday 8am-6pm, got it?" He aggressively tells me. Wow, that was easier than I thought. Way easier than the job at the castle. "Yes! Of course sir!" I happily tell him. I walk out of the bakery while I take a bite out of the bread.

Today wasn't so bad after all.

Dream's POV:

I glance at my bordered up window. Fantastic. That was the only thing I liked in here.
I look back up at the ceiling, watching a spider walk across it. "Hey little guy." I say to it. "Who am I kidding. I'm so pathetic that I'm talking to a spider." I roll my eyes at myself. I think I'm just going insane.

I reach over to my pillow and throw it off the bed. I pick up what I had underneath the pillow. I smile as I look at the photo. If only he... never mind. That's not something I should be thinking about right now.

I put a different pillow over the photo and lay down. Maybe if I get some rest I'll be able to not think about it. I close my eyes, and, well...

...my dream was rather odd.
