Third-Person POV:
The room falls silent, the clouds drift by the window and the birds soar across the baby blue sky.
George looks at Dream, with complete shock formed in his eyes, some traces of tears were also forming.
The only sound you could hear is the quiet breathing coming from both boys. Dream turned around to face George, no longer looking at the beautiful scene outside. "I said it George, I think you're cute." Dream states once again.
George looks at Dream, his mouth opening but he can't form words. He just stares into the mask. Dream looks at George, a warm smile on his face. "This is out of no where, I know." He says calmly. Something about Dream's voice soothed George. It was pleasant.
George was finally able to say something. "Dream, I don't understand..." He says. His voice was quiet, while Dream's was bright and steady.
"How could you not? You are rather cute, aren't you?" Dream says. George became flustered at his comment. "This is just... another one of your jokes, isn't it." George said.
George was wary about things that escaped Dream's mouth, especially when it had to do with George himself.
"George, I'm not joking." Dream said. Dream leaned closer to George, there bodies almost colliding.
Dream could hear George's breath, and blush spread across his face. "Dream, I-" George said.
George backed up a little bit, but this didn't stop Dream. He took another step towards George before his mask and George's face were inches apart.
"George, I think I have a crush on you." Dream says. George gulped as those words processed in his brain. The world around George became foggy, it was like it was only Dream and George, alone, nothing else.
Dream's arm landed on George's hip. "Will you, accept me?" Dream asks. Shivers were sent down George's body as Dream's warm, delicate hand touched his hip. "Dream..." George said.
"I... love you George." Dream said.
Dream's free hand worked his way to his own mask, reaching for the buckle.
As he was about to unhook the buckle, George slapped Dream's hand down and also pushed his other arm off.
"Dream I'm, I'm sorry. You don't need me, I'm... not good enough." George said. Tears were now visible to Dream. "George-"
Before Dream could finish his sentence, George rushed out of Dream's bedroom. "George! Wait!" Dream called out.
He shouted, but it didn't work. Dream listened as George's footsteps echoed down the stairs, before he was left again with silence, but this wasn't the good one like before. It was the kind of silence you hear when you are heartbroken, alone, and sad.
"George..?"
George's POV:
The beautiful scene from before was quickly wiped away as I ran thru the path, tears flying off my face as I went.
I'm not good enough I'm not good enough I'm not good enough.
I ran as far and fast as I can, before I ended up in the forest.
It took me a second to realize where I was. Panic settled in me as I looked around but didn't see an obvious path back. This can't be good. "HELLO? IS ANYONE HERE?" I call out.
As I'm calling out, I hear a twig snap.
My heart sinks, the blurry memory comes back to me, the one I dread. "No.." I say.
Another twig, and another. "NO! SOMEONE HELP!"
"DREAAAM!"
