The walk back to the castle was dreadful, almost like a walk of shame.

Everyone stared as the prince and four outcasts walked infront of a line a guards with Minx and her two minions were in between and two guards in the back carrying the blood-soaked Sapnap.

Even though nobody could see his face, Dream was biting his lip to hold back tears.

As they got to the castle, the king ran pver and gave his son a hug.

"I'm so glad you are safe!" He cried out, happy tears rolling down his face.

Dream glanced up at his mother, who was frowning down at him. "Take the one with glasses into custody." She ordered. The guards were confused at first, but they followed the order and handcuffed the surprised George.

"W-Wait mom! What are you doing?!" Dream shouts, pulling out of his father's hug.

"It's his fault Karl and Sapnap are dead."

Dream stopped, George's eyes widened. They made eye contact for a split second as the guards rushed George in, along with Minx and the other two.

"Mother! Stop this!" Dream cried out.

She ignored him and looked at the other two guards that held Sapnap.

"Prepare for the funeral. We'll bury him next to Karl, they were fond of each other." She said.

She gave Dream one last look of disgust before leaving into the castle.

The king sighed and looked back at Dream.

"I'm sorry, there's nothing I can d-"

"YOU CAN NEVER DO ANYTHING!" Dream shouts.

The king stares at Dream, surprised at his sudden shout.

"Go to your room now." He said.

"Wha-"

"GO TO YOUR ROOM."

Dream just groaned and ran into the castle, leaving the king and all the curious civilians alone outside.

-Timeskip to the funeral-

Dream's POV:

I slunch down on my windowsill, watching as rhe sunsets and people dressed in black gathered around the flower bed. I sat quietly, listening as they read about Sapnap.

I tried keeping back the tears, but there's no way that could've worked. My best friend since childhood died. How am I suppose to "put on a strong face"? I'm sick and tired of all this.

Before I began to let all my emotions out, a small knock came from my door. I sniffled up the last bit of my tears before allowing the person to enter.

Nicki quietly opened the door, followed by Skeppy, Bad, and Quackity.

"Hey Dream." She said.

"Hi." I replied. I didn't want company. Can't I just be left alone for a while.

"Look, I didn't want that to happen to Sa-"

"That's what all of you told me. Evey single f$&@ing one of you. Don't you get it? He's dead no matter what you say."

Bad flinched to my unexpected language.

"I know, but we have to look past that right now, I have a plan."

I looked up at them.

"A plan. A PLAN?! ARE YOU F@$&ING CRAZY? LOOK WHAT GOT US INTO THIS MESS. WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR ANOTHER BLOODY PLAN." I shout at them.

Are people this stupid?

"Dream. It's about George."

"I can easily get him out. Did you forget that this is MY castle." I say sarcastically.

"It's not entirely about that." She said awkwardly.

"Then what is it?" I asked, not really caring.

She hesitated for a moment before telling me.

"We have to overthrow our parents."
