It seems that Dream is inside a dream. A rather odd dream at that.

Dream's POV:

I stay fast asleep, before I can feel something underneath me that wasn't my bed. I slowly rubbed my eyes opened and looked around. I was laying in a flower bed, surrounded by roses, cornflowers, and tulips, just to name a few.
There was also butterflies fluttering around and bees buzzing. It was very relaxing here.
I don't really know where 'here' is, but it's relaxing.

I sit up, looking around to see if anyone else was there. Looks like I'm alone. I stand up and started walking out of the flowerbed. That's when I noticed some footprints in the dirt.
They didn't belong to me, they looked smaller than mine. I put my foot next to it to make sure. Yep. Definitely smaller.

I start to follow the trail of footprints, but they stop once I'm out of the dirt. Better luck next time I guess.

I continue my walk threw the woods that was nearby. I hear some birds chirping all around me. It's very calming here. I spotted a log and sat down on it, taking in the scenery. That's when I saw a shadow move quickly in the distance. I immediately get up. "Hello? Is someone there?" I call out. I'm answered with silence. I begin to walk over to where I saw the shadow. As I approached a tree, I was close enough to make out what it was. It was another human! That's a first.

I quickly run after the person, who looked male. I was just about to catch up to him before I tripped over a twig, stumbling over and hitting my head on a tree. A groan in pain as I put my hand on my head.
It's not like a actually got hurt, but it still felt awful.

I look around, trying to find the guy again. I finally spot him hiding behind a tree, peeking at me. "Hey! I'm Dream, who are you?" I ask. The guy quickly hid his head behind the tree again. I slowly got up, dusting myself off in the process. I walk over, trying not to startle him. "It's ok, I won't hurt you, I promise! You can trust me!" I tell him. He slowly peeks his head around the tree again, looking less scared than before.

I approach him carefully, not wanting him to run away again. "Hey!" I say as I reach the tree. I finally get a good look at him. Scrawny, Brown hair, blue t-shirt, and ripped jeans. He looks at me nervously. I stare at him for a moment before I realize what I was doing. "Ah, sorry about that! Anyways, I'm Dream, and you are..?" I ask. He looks strangely familiar.

"I-I'm George." He tells me. My eyes widen. Of course! That's when I remember about the glasses. "I-I have your glasses! I accidentally dropped them so they are being repaired right now!" I tell him. His eyes seem to widen, but it's hard to tell. That's when I remember I was in a dream. "Oh yeah... you're not real." I whisper. I got too caught up in excitement when talking to him. Great.
That's when I offer him to come and sit on a log, which he agrees to.

We sit in silence for a while. George looked really stressed, with his hands on his knees and his eyes fixated on one spot of grass. "So..." I start. He flinches when he hears me talk. "How are you? I know you're not real but I want to get to know the fake George! Maybe it'll be the same in the real world." He stares at the grass for a moment before answering. "Nothing. My life is boring anyways. You don't need to know how I am." He tells me. My heart kind of sinks at his words. Why would he say that? Is his life not found well at the moment?
"Well, if you want I can help!" I tell him.
"Forget it." He tells me. After that, he wouldn't answer anything else I asked him.
I give up and look up at the sky. It was a really bright white.
I turn back to George, who was now also looking at the sky. "It's nice, isn't it?" I ask him. He nods his head slightly. That's when he looks straight at me. "Thanks for keeping me company Dream." He tells me.

I get a little... flustered? Wait no, not that. Maybe... surprised? Whatever. "No problem" I tell him. We look into each other's eyes for a moment. His eyes are pretty. Wait, is that a weird thing to say to another boy? I shake the thought out of my head and brake our eye contact. There's absolutely no way I could say that to him. That's abnormal. I sneak another look at him. I mean, he looks pretty... wait wait wait. No no no.

Stop. Thinking. Like. That. Dream. That's. Weird. I hit myself on the head in frustration I notice the world fade around me. "Looks like it's time for me to leave. Bye George." I tell him, not looking at him. I'm yet again answered with silence, but it was a good silence.

I wake up in my bed, staring at the ceiling. My mind keeps thinking about George's face. Wait, I can totally call him pretty. It's like a compliment! It's not like I want to date him or anything. Yeah. Completely normal. I am not catching feelings, especially for another guy.
I put the pillow over my head, slightly blushing.
