A death by murder
A murder by ingesting poison
A poison spread from a field
A field cultivating lies
Lies with better yield than truth
Lies mixed with every poisonous chemicals for more yield
Lies exported disguised as truth
Lies that doesn't easily perish as truth
Lies cheaper than truth
Almost everyone realises the lie in a single bite
But still consumes it being tastier than truth
Consumed and sold everywhere being cheaper
A death we know of among many we don't
Still we let the poison consume the best of us
A few gets immune with apathy
Others involve deep with antipathy
When the irreversible occurs emerges sympathy
Everyone comes forward showing empathy
The root of all this a respected farmer with pseudo polymathy
