CHAPTER 6

Elle's p.o.v

I let out a yawn as I stretched my back and got into a comfortable position on the chair. I looked out the window and saw the clouds flying past us as I turned to look at Jax in his seat.

"When are we going to be landing" I said as I stared outside in excitement as I saw the beautiful island below us, St Lucia. I kept myself as calm as I could, already thinking of all the things I could do now that I have a whole week to myself away from the company and work, just me relaxing, the thought of it made me sigh in contempt.

"Mr and Mrs Bryant, please do put on you seatbelts we are making our decent into St Lucia" said the pilot as I took in a deep breath and did as he instructed, I stared out the window at the beautiful island as we started landing.

After a few minutes we had successfully landed into St Lucia and we started heading towards the car which had been arranged for us by the resort. As we got to the car the staffs put our luggage into the trunk while I just sat down in the back seat and tried to calm my breathing down.

I was in a dark place, I was screaming and crying and banging on the roof of the car. "Let me out please" I screamed as I started loosing in due to being stuck in the trunk of the car for many hours.

I opened my eyes as I took in a deep breath and pulled the window down as I took in the fresh air. Nothing was going to make my stay in this place uncomfortable, not even me.

I looked to the side of the car as I noticed Jax enter the car and the driver start the engine. I was really happy and lucky that I was stuck with him, as my husband that is, he was a good friend and we made a great team to be honest, we had so much in common and we liked most of the same things.

We were a team and we always decided things together. Like for example this wonderful honeymoon location, we both decided on St Lucia because why in the hell not, this place was awesome and then we decided to stay at the Jade mountain hotel because yeah that was the best hotel and I wanted to enjoy my stay here as much as I could.

Our parents were quite surprised when they found out we had planned our honeymoon ourselves, I'm sure they thought they would have to drag us somewhere, but we surprised them all, but they were quite excited about it though, it was quite funny because Jax and I chose our honeymoon location ourselves because it was a good chance for us to take a break from work and we figured that our parents were too meddling, so they probably would've arranged on for us if we hadn't done so ourselves, this way we could pick a place we really wanted and save ourselves from any schemes our parents might plan while enjoying ourselves at the same time.

See win-win, Jax and I are the best team ever.

As we arrived at the Jade mountain hotel, I was really excited and happy, the place looked so much better than I imagined. I turned around and looked over t Jax smiling at him.

"This is a really nice place; I can't wait to soak up inn all its glory" I said smiling as I enjoyed the view.

As we stopped at the entrance, the bellboy took our luggage out of the car as Jax walked over to my side and the car sped off. I smoothened out the dress I was wearing as Jax held me by my waist as we walked into the reception confidently.

As we walked into the reception, I noticed many eyes on us as we indirectly called attention to ourselves. We walked up to the pretty and nice receptionist as her eyes widened as she noticed us, as she welcomed us Jax spoke to her with a hard and emotionless look on his face, it was so funny how his emotions changed when there were other people around, I thought as I almost let out a laugh at his antics.

"Reservation under Bryant" he said as she nodded her head at us and scanned through something in the computer.

"Reservation for the honeymoon suite?" she said as she looked at us to confirm. I looked up at Jax with a smile on my face trying my hardest to hold my laugh, he looked down at me after nodding to the receptionist.
