Elle's p.o.v

It's been about two months since Jax 'proposed' to me at the café, yes I called him jax, it was shorter and easier to pronounce, we were stalked by the paparazzi's for a few weeks and then they finally gave up and stopped following us. Jax and I had become really good friends in our own ways since that day and honestly, I couldn't think of him as anything more.

He was really hot and all but it was so weird imagining spending the rest of my life with him, I laughed at the thought.

Jax and I were getting married and today we were going to have lunch with one another to talk about a few things before the wedding. Although we were getting married, we hardly ever talked about it, always seeming to avoid the topic.

So here I am right now sitting in a five star restaurant with Jax hoping we could talk about the wedding.

We talked comfortably as he told me about him closing a deal today, I was so happy for him because he had been planning this for a while. So, this was kind of a celebratory lunch, if you could actually call it that.

"Jax, so I know we've been avoiding this topic for a while, but we really do need to talk about the fact that we are getting married tomorrow" I said to him as we both stared at each other emotionlessly.

One second passed in silence, then two, then three and then we both burst out laughing.

"I'm so sorry Elle, you always seem to crack me up" he said laughing as I followed.

"I know right, I crack myself up too sometimes" I said snickering.

Yes, this was how we both were, I think we were both too playful for our age. When I first met Jax I thought he was going to be arrogant and rude and everything mean but the wasn't he was actually really cool though, to me, that is.

Yes, I got special treatment, but that was because I'm going to be his wife, duhh, like I deserve it.

You see Jax is 31 years old, yes, he's 6 years older than me, who cares, he is the CEO of his company, he is very hardworking when he is at work and everyone respects him and fears him in his company, he is known to be very thorough and picky with his work and I really understand him there because, no one wants to get a shitty proposal when they're at work, that's just annoying, as bosses we cant afford to make mistakes.

"Jax I'm serious we need to talk about this" I said smiling as I took a bite from my steak.

"Ok sure, you're right, we need to take this more seriously" he said smiling at me.

"Ok yeah, so I think we need to set some rules" I said seriously.

"Rules? Really/ do we really need them?" he asked looking at me seriously now.

"Yeah, we do, this is to protect ourselves from unnecessary conflicts, we're getting married Jax, tomorrow, we cant afford to have conflicts arousing every 2 days" I said as calmly as I could to him.

"Ok, I understand what you mean, what rule do you want to put, because I'm sure you thought of one already" he said as he took a bit from his steak.

"I've got only one rule Jax. You mustn't be unfaithful to me, I know we aren't in that kind of relationship, but still, starting tomorrow we will be a married couple and I wouldn't want to have my husband no matter our relationship sleeping with some other woman" I stated firmly.

"Ok, I understand what you mean, and I totally concur that rule also, I wouldn't want my wife sleeping with some other man, and this could also damage our reputations also, so its best to be on the safe side" he said agreeing with me.
