Knock. Knock.
"What do you want?"
"Slender wants to see you, Macy." Letting out a sigh, I threw the sheets off me. I slowly made my way to the door and opened it. "Follow," Jeff demanded, his voice sounding upset. I only nodded my head in agreement and followed behind him. The halls were long and lined with pictures off many different people. Some of which I didn't even recognize. One picture caught my eye. It was a kid who looked to be about ten. He had beautiful brown hair and soft blue eyes. He looked to be a very sweet child. But it made me ask myself why a normal child's picture was hanging on the wall. Jeff stopped in front of a large oak door with brass, decorative handles. So of course I had stopped as well.
"Here we are, Piggy." I let out a nervous sigh and Jeff proceeded to open the big, beautiful door.
"Welcome Macy," Slender said. When the doors closed it made a loud bang Which scared me at first. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. "Sit down." I nodded and found a set in front of his desk. Slender's desk was neatly organized with a stack of papers in the middle of the desk with pens and pencils on the right side of it. The room was a beige color with no pictures or signs of any life. Slender took a seat in his large chair and rested his elbows on the desk.
"In light of recent events Jeff and I were forced to come up with a new agreement with you." I nodded my head in agreement as well as a signal for him to keep going. "So we've decided to send you back to your normal life. No one will remember you ever leaving so it will be like nothing ever happened."
"What about my memories?"
"Those can't be altered at all. I have been observing you and have done some tests but found that your memory for can't be changed like the others. We have no clue as to why, but we don't want to run any risks in trying to get rid of them so I want to leave them be." I nodded my and looked down at my folded hands. I could go back and be happy again with Dezy, Tyler and Be-
"What about Beth's death?" I could see Jeff tense up beside me.
"That will go unchanged as well seeing as the police have dropped the investigation upon finding no one to charge with the murderer." I glanced at Jeff to see an expressionless look on his face. His voice and body gave away the fact of him being upset but he tried his hardest to not let his face show as well. He hands were balled up into fists at his sides and his chest was moving quicker than usual. But he stayed silent.
"Furthermore, you are to never speak about what had happened. You are to never come looking for this house or Jeff. Jeff and you shall never meet again under any circumstances. If you do speak of this place, I won't hesitate to send my men after you." My blood ran cold. I had no idea there were more people like Slender or Jeff, but I definitely didn't wan to find out. Without anymore to say, Slender sent us away and it was just the two of us in the hall.
"Jeff-"
"Let's go," he said curtly, cutting me off. I was glad I'd be leaving but I don't know if could just pretend nothing happened. We made our way to the front door and Jeff swung the door open in an upset manner.
"What's wr-"
"Just shut up. I don't want to hear your voice." I was surprised from his sudden attitude change. He was so calm and sort of charming earlier but now he was the exact opposite. I wanted to apologize; I'm honestly not sure why but I felt like I had to. I didn't want to push him so I kept my mouth shut and kept walking a few feet behind him. After some time we arrived to the edge of the woods across from my house.
"Once you walk in, it'll be like nothing happened. Your sister is waiting for you to come home from school."
"Can I ask one thing?" He gave an annoyed sigh.
"What?"
"What's today? I forgot what day it is." He did a face palm and sighed again.
"Friday, you moron. Friday."
"Thanks." I gave him a quick nod and walked across the street to my house. When I turned around to look for him, he was gone. After collecting myself from this weird dream like situation, I walked inside to find Dezy in the living room watching T.V.
"Sup kiddo." She tossed her head back to look at me and smiled. Of course I gave a weak smile back.
"Hey, I'm kinda tired so I'm going do homework. Later." I quickly made my way upstairs and shut my door. It was like it was all a dream. A weird and crazy dream. But it wasn't. I knew for sure it wasn't.
