You arrived back in the compound and Bucky led you to your room. "I'm gonna be a dad" he exclaimed excitedly.

"Yep" you say back, less enthusiastically.

"Hey whats up doll?" His tone became softer, he lead you over to the bed to sit down.

"What if we aren't ready, I mean, I'm 24. What if we can't be the best parents." You say to him.

"Hey, look at me, we will be the best parents, you will be the best mum. We can do this my love. Well get through it together." He promised.

"Together" you repeated. He pulled you into a hug. "I love you Buck" you say.

"I love you too y/n" He repeats, kissing you, "And I love you" he added, with his hand rested on your stomach. He climbed off the bed, "I'm going to shower, ill be back" He said, before walking into the bathroom.

You wondered over to your wardrobe, taking out some jogging bottoms and a crop top, you threw it on, hanging your suit back up.

Once you were dressed you retrieved your laptop and opened it up, "baby names" you searched up. All of the ones that popped up were basic and boring, so you decided to put your own twist on the names, you came up with a few ideas. If it was a girl, it would be:
- Hali
- Clover
- Harlow
- Shannon
- Harper

And if it was a boy:
- Aukai
- Apollo
- Juno
- Ares

You enjoyed thinking of names, you decided to lean into the god and goddess theme, after all it was your blood, and if you were lucky the kid may end up being a god.

Buckys POV

You had finished in the shower, as you opened to door, you saw y/n facing away, in her element. Busy at work. You stood in the doorway of the bathroom just watching her. You must have stood there for about 5 minutes admiring the way she worked before she spotted you.

"I've come up with some names" she exclaimed, she had perked up.

"Ooh, tell me" You responded, all her ideas were great, so you were sure this wouldn't be any different. She went from her desk to sitting crossed legged on the bed, you doing the same opposite her.

"So, if its a girl, I was thinking, Hali, Harlow, Clover or Harper. And if its a boy then, Aukai, Apollo, Juno or Ares." You loved every single one.

"I kinda had a god and goddess theme in mind but if you don't like any thats fine." She added.

You reached out, taking her hands, "I love them all, however, if its a boy I was also thinking of Jasper or Wilbur" You suggest.

"I love them, they are going on the list." She replys eagerly, jumping off the bed, joyting down the names and pinning it to the wall. "8 more months to go" She teases.

"Wait, I thought pregnancies are 9 months?"

"Well they are, but symptoms don't shoe until you are a few weeks in, and you don't show properly for like 2 months. When I went to the doctor last week he said we are already a month along." She explained.

"Less time to wait" you cheered.
