The Winter Princess

i love our little family

You woke up, Buckys arms wrapped around you again. "Hey Buck, wake up baby." You said to him. He did the usual, groan and roll over, complain about mornings for a solid 5 minutes, you were used to it. "Why do we need to get up?" He moaned.

"Gender reveal party set up." You tell him. This causes him to jump up and out of bed. "What are you waiting for?" He exclaims excitedly, running off into the bathroom to change. "You" you respond, he laughs.

Once you were dressed you headed downstairs and outside by the lake. You and Bucky started to set up, you got up early so no one would be awake when you started, and you managed to catch the sunrise, it was beautiful.

You and Bucky nearly passed out from filling balloons, but you had enough.

After an hour everything was set up. It was perfect, you had a table with the cake, multicoloured confetti sprinkled everywhere, a balloon arch covering the door frame, and the confetti poppers. Now you had to wait for everyone to wake up, luckily, the main room had a huge window that overlooked the garden, so it wouldn't take long for the word to spread.

Bucky knelt down, placing his hands on your stomach, "Hey baby girl, I don't know if you can hear us but mummy and daddy love you." He cooed, it all felt so surreal, 'mummy' and 'daddy', it sent butterflies to erupt in your stomach.

He stood up and kissed you, one hand on the side of your face, the other wrapped around your waist, you heard the door slide open. "Gender reveal" you shouted like suprise would be yelled at a suprise party.

You all hung out for a while outside, talking, making the most of the sun. "So, what do you guys think it will be?" You questioned Nat and Wanda.
"Girl" the both answered in unison, like it was obvious, they wanted it to be a girl, more girl talks.

A few hours had passed and it was time to reveal it to the team. "So, its time guys." You and Bucky exclaimed from behind the table, everyone turned their attention to you, intrigued as ever. You and Bucky both pick up a confetti canon each. "3, 2, 1..." You chant, pulling the machines handle. Sparks of pink engulfed the air, there was a loud cheer. "Its a girl!" Bucky exclaimed before kissing you gently.

A few hours passed, people congratulated you almost every minute, Nat spent almost an hour trying to convince you to name her Natasha, you had already told her you had a name, she didn't stop trying.

You and Bucky were in bed, it was only 7pm but you were tired. You were both layed there, settled, watching TV. You felt a weird sensation, it took a while to figure out, Bucky realised something was wrong, "hey, what's the matter baby?" He asked you. You soon realised what it was, causing a smile to erupt. "She kicked Buck, look, put your hand there." Signalling to a pulsing spot on your stomach, after that neither of you could sleep.

"What are we gonna name her?" You asked him. He smiled.

"Well, we know its a girl, so its either Hali, Clover, Harlow, Shannon, Harper, oh and Moana of course." He joked.
You laughed.
"Well, I think Moana is on the middle name list, thst might be cute. I really like Hali and Harlow." You say.

"I think Harlow is my favourite." He responds. You look down, holding your stomach, "Harlow, I love it." You say, he wraps his arms around you and pulls you into a hug. "I love our little family."
