Your life changed in a matter of hours. Everything, except one thing, or three things, Sam, Steve and Bucky. Bucky, your first and only crush. If only he knew, or felt the same way about you.
It was 7:30pm. You had slipped into your polka dot dress and curled your hair, you wouldn't usually make this much effort for a date, but it was Bucky, he was worth it.

You headed out and started to walk towards the lake, it wasn't far, intact it was just being the compound, but then you had a chance to take everything in, see the sights you'd seen a million times before, but it never seemed to get old.
When you got there, Bucky was already there waiting, he had set it up perfectly, lights and cushions sat on the deck which overlooked the vast lake. "Hey doll" he stood up from his seat and helped you over to your seat, "I can still walk Buck." You tease.
"I know, I just love helping you" he said back, you smiled at him.

You had finished dinner after an hour, it was amazing, perfect. You spoke about everything and anything, taking a few moments in between to admire your view. "Hey look, you can see the moon!" Bucky exclaimed pointing behind you, you twisted your head to see a full moon beaming over you, you turn your head back and see Bucky next t to you, on one knee, you knew what was about to happen.
"Y/n, since the day we met you've been my best friend, I love you with all my heart and I'm so lucky to be able to call you mine. I'm also the luckiest man alive to be able to tell people you are the mother to our child. I couldn't imagine a life without you in it, so will you make me the happiest man alive. Will you marry me y/n Odinson?"
"Yes, of course I will" you reply, tears in your eyes, he hugs you and slips the ring onto your finger, it was beautiful.

He takes your hand. "I've got one more thing to show you." He explains, leading you back into the tower.

He lead you into a room you had never been in before, when he opened the door it was just a staircase, he hooked his hands under your waist and picked you up, carrying you bridal style all the way up the stairs, he kicked open the door at the top and it led you to the roof of the compound, you could see the stars and the lake, forests and city lights. It was beautiful. "I come up here whenever I need a moment, before, it was my space, but now its ours, and if you ever need a break from all the hectic mess downstairs, you can come up here and ill know where to find you." He explained, his thoughts made so much sense, like he understood everything that went on in your head, you spun round, placing a kiss on his lips. What was meant to be a peck ended up passionate, the most passionate one yet.
After a while of stargazing you headed inside to go to sleep, it was already late and you were already tired, and apparently so was Bucky.
