2 months later

You are now 3 months pregnant, the bump is visible but not obvious. You find put the gender in 2 weeks, you and Bucky are out shopping for Morgan's birthday next week.

"Hey, what about this?" Bucky says from across the shop, holding up a moana doll with her pet chicken and pig.
"Oh my god its perfect." You tell him, "I'm going to pick out a card, you find the perfect wrapping paper, should we get something else to go with it?" You ask.

"Yeah, you look for the card and other bit and I'll grab some wrapping paper." He replies walking away.

"How about this one?" He asks behind you holding up some rainbow paper with stars over it. "Yes, just yes. What about these." You respond, showing him a basic birthday card with a 6 drawn across it and a fluffy cheeseburger cushion. "Perfect." He finishes leading you to the till.

You finish up clothes shopping and had managed to convince him to look at baby clothes with you. You walked into the shop and headed over to the baby bits, both of you cooing over every item. You look up and see a familiar face, "Bucky, we need to get out this store" you say, diverting your eyes to the ground. "Why doll?" His tone changed serious.
"Foster parents, 2 oclock" you signal, both of you looking up, seeing them head towards you. "Crap" you finish before they get into earshot.

"Ah, hello y/n" the woman speaks.

"What do you want?" You snap back bluntly.

"Rude as always" her saying this makes Bucky click into protective mode,"so we can't say hi to our daughter now?"

"I'm not your daughter" You scowl.

"As far as paperwork goes, you are. We haven't seen you in 7 years, I thought we'd at least say hello."

"You haven't seen me in 7 years because you kicked me out. I don't need you to say hello because I have a life without you thank god. And I'm not your daughter, I'm an adult who has made an adult decision to never see you again, after how you treated me its the least you deseve" you respond confidently.

"And whos this?" She questions, pointing to Bucky.

"My fiancé, Bucky." You finish, before leaving the store and heading to the car to drive home.

"You handled that really well." Bucky says, keeping his eyes fixed to the road.

"You learn how to after living with them for 17 years." You joke.

"Why didn't you tell her about the baby?" He questioned.

"Because she'd kick up a fuss about being a part of their life and I really don't want her to be, I hate the woman and I don't want our child growing up with her in her life." You say back.

"Fair enough, you know we have to go back to that store and pick up some of those clothes." He jokes.

"Of course we do, we can't leave them there, also we should talk to Tony about having a nursery in the compound." You tell him.

"Yeah, if we get in and wrap Morgan presents then ask him?" He suggests.

"Sounds like a plan."
