Pearl's Pov

"Come on!" Lisa the daughter of Eros, drags me along. Her short dyed pink hair blows into her face as she pulls my sleeve.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see!"

"Lisa!" I don't get a response. She hanging on to my sleeve as we near the west wing of the science labs. The west wing of the main building is full of labs and rooms with equipment. I haven't had the pleasure of using any of the equipment yet but the nymph who's subbing for our science teacher says we should soon.

A few minutes later Lisa pulls me into a room with 10-13 other people. What is this for? Why the hell am I here?

"Hello, girls," A nymph greets us. "Are you here for the marine biology club?"

THE WHAT! WHY DIDN'T LISA TELL ME! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS EXISTED? WHY DIDN'T FATHER TELL ME!

"By the look on your face, I assume you weren't told."

"No," I look to Lisa. "Is this real?"

"As you or I. Please take a seat."

Lisa keeps a hold on my sleeve and drags me to an open seat. On the black bored there is a debate question; who is the top predator? White or Tiger sharks?

Tiger sharks are the leading cause of human mortality in the open ocean if not for the freezing temperatures getting them first. White sharks aren't even interested in mortals. They're more interested in what could be food. They don't even like the taste of mortals. You're more likely to be attacked by a tiger than a white shark.

The nymph pulls me out of my thoughts. I must have been starring for a bit. "How about we start with your names."

"Oh, I'm Pearl daughter of Poseidon and Athena."

"Lisa daughter of Eros."

"Pearl you seem the be in the right place," I nod. "What is your favourite marine animal?"

That is so easy. Give me a harder one to answer. "Green sea turtles."

Adagio's Pov

Evan calls my name. Likely has been for a while. He stands in the doorway. "Hmm?"

"Have you been to the foreign book club?"

I glance up from my book. "The what?"

"Foreign book club, you learn how to read in several different languages." Evan walks in a few steps. He smiles at me.

"Can't I just use the spell we learned in class?"

Evan shakes his head. "You learn the old-fashioned way. Trust me when I say it holds more satisfaction than anything you learn with Lugh."

"When's the next meeting?"

"One hour."

"Are you going?"

"Of course, I'll see you there." Evan turns on his heel to leave. Do I want to go? Of course. Do I want to go alone? Hells no!

I call after Evan. He pauses as he leaves the common room. He was heading towards Megan and Spencer's dorm. Barbra and Austin live there too. All the generals go to their dorm. If you can't find one head there. It's your best bet. Naturally.

"Walk with me?"

"Where?" I give Evan a look. He smiles. "Oh of course. I'll meet you at Medora's in 40."
