So far I have only worked with professionals in contests and for official work and this is my first time, intending for an audience. It is extremely difficult since I have to change my writing style for this. This is an extremely emotional book for me because I am a Bangladeshi and this book represents the pain my people had to go through for decades. I have been away from Bangladesh for many years and this book represents my love for my country, the only country that fought for their mother tongue. Please keep in mind when putting hate comments, that you are not only hurting someone's feelings but also their pride. Hate comments will be reported.

After the Partition, when the British left India; two new countries were formed. India and Pakistan. Pakistan had two parts. West and East Pakistan. East Pakistan is where modern Bangladesh is based and where my story is located. West Pakistanis tortured East Pakistanis and thought of them as laborers, made them work without a proper salary, and brutally killed anyone who disobeyed them.
Muslim men have to have the head of their penises cut off for religious purposes. That was the easiest way to distinguish between a Hindu and a Muslim. Since the majority of the Pakistan population was Muslim, the soldiers would treat them a bit differently. The Pakistani soldiers would check for the head in their penises and would kill anyone who had them so as to wipe out the Hindus. Many Hindu men would deliberately cut off the head so they could live. On the other hand, the soldiers raped women mercilessly. This is the main reason why Islam is the dominant religion of Bangladesh in modern days.
Now among them was the betrayer of their own motherland, Zamindars. Zamindars were usually rich with acres of land. They used to work with the Pakistani government and in return laborers used to work in those lands. The Zamindars were the eyes of the government and they would let the authorities know if any intellectual caught their eye so the soldiers would kill so as to make sure that Bangladesh didn't have any potential of its own.
Now this book will focus on the 1952 Language Movement of Bangladesh, the only country that fought for their mother tongue, Bengali. College students who were to protest were all torn apart by the harsh brutality of the police. It was one of the darkest moments in the history of Bangladesh as young women were brutally raped and students were arrested although they protested calmly. The disappearance of some students still remains a mystery however all of them equally reside in our hearts. The total number of deaths still remains unknown to this day. ♛ My primary source for this book will be the Bengali language and Bengali history books I have studied for 7 years. This book is edited by grammarly.com. The Bangla/Urdu text will be translated into English by Google Translate since I am an amateur in formal Bangla. This also applies to any other languages that will be used. The characters will be conversing in Bangla and Urdu but it is translated into English and it will be stated if they communicate in English.
This part will serve as a guide to my book, so kindly refer to it in case any confusion or problem arises. I will keep updating this part to fit the information required for this book.
The romance in this book will go at a fast pace as both of them are young and inexperienced in love, sometimes the chemistry will seem bland and that is the base of the story. This book will focus on family and political issues a bit more than the romance between the characters.
This book is intended for mature readers. It will contain rape, anal, adultery, gore, smut, strong language, disorders, racism, homophobia, suicide, terrorism, censored slurs, and other dark themes. This book is a historical work of fiction, it is mainly influenced by Bangladeshi history but isn't purely based on it. Any other events that occur are purely coincidental as some events will be changed according to be my preference.
