The Big Day – Everyone's up early and getting ready, mainly the ladies. Reena had to wake up early as well despite her tiredness. She was getting her hair and make-up done by her close friend, Reshma. Her friends were her biggest support system that day, they kept checking up on her making sure she is alright. Ashwin on the other hand woke up a little later than the rest (of course, there's nothing much for him to get ready with). He knew he can't get on call with Reena as her friends will start teasing him. He was waiting patiently in his room, having breakfast, reading newspaper and just making himself calm. His friends joined him a little later. Many friends and relatives came early to the wedding place and were in awe. It was a beautiful beach wedding setup. All the guests were admiring how beautifully the decoration & setup is done even though it's nearby the beach, they kept asking everyone whose idea is this and how they managed to pull off. The muhurtham time was nearing, Ashwin's parents came to him to bring him over to the wedding stage. He got the blessings from them and walked along with them, accompanied by his friends. Ashwin's friend, Sundar made sure to capture all those memorable moments. As the wedding rituals was going on with Ashwin, Reena's parents went to bring her. The moment they saw Reena in her bridal look, all set for her big day, they teared up. Reena was controlling herself so much but the moment she saw tears on her dad's eyes, she started tearing as well. Her parents blessed her, and her parents said, "You'll always be our girl, love you da kanna". Reena then walked towards wedding stage. All eyes were on her, she was literally glowing. DJ made sure to play beautiful entrance song for Reena, her relatives joined her as well as she made her way to the stage. Reena performed all the rituals whereas Ashwin was back to his room for a change of his costume, then Reena went to her room as well for saree change. Half an hour later, Ashwin came back to stage. Everyone's now eagerly waiting for the moment, especially Ashwin. As he saw Reena coming forward, tears rolled down his cheeks. In his mind he's thinking "It's finally happening, getting married to the love of my life, he couldn't believe it for himself". That was just Ashwin's moment. Then, Reena got to stage, all the rituals were performed together with Ashwin. They both could hardly speak anything during this time. After a while, the priest then took the thaali, made sure to get everyone's blessings to it and then stood up to pass it to Ashwin. He was explaining to Ashwin on how it should be tied and told him "Don't be nervous". Ashwin smiled, looked at Reena and whispered in her ears "Don't be nervous okay, I love you". Reena just smiled. Ashwin then took the thaali from the priest and tied the thaali around Reena's neck, all the guest blessed the newly wed couple. Reena got emotional and started tearing, she looked up and saw Ashwin tearing as well. After tying the thaali, Ashwin kissed on Reena's forehead and then they both continued on doing what the priest asked to. Parents, few family members and Reena's friends could not manage their emotions as well, all of them had happy tears. Few hours later, wedding ceremony was over, and everyone started getting back to hotel. Ashwin and Reena were extremely tired, they rested a while before getting back to Chennai. Then, everyone started traveling back to Chennai, Reena and Ashwin got into their wedding car. Reena told Ashwin "we got to have another power nap before performing another set of rituals when we are back home". Ashwin laughed saying "oh god" and lied on Reena's shoulder. Few hours later, everyone got back to Chennai and a few other rituals were done at Ashwin's parents' home. Then, friends and family members went to drop off Ashwin and Reena to their new home. Ashwin and Reena were too tired to do anything, they bid bye to everyone and went on to sleep. Later that night, Reena woke up and realized it was already night! She tried waking up Ashwin, but he was in deep sleep, so she just let him to sleep a little longer. She made herself a cup of coffee and went to their balcony, enjoyed drinking her coffee looking at the night view. About half an hour later, Ashwin was awake. He looked for Reena beside him, couldn't find her there but saw their balcony sliding door is opened. He knew Reena must be there. He went towards her, hugged her from back and said "Hi pondati, where's my coffee?". Reena replied "You didn't get up when I was trying to wake you up. Adhunala neeye poi paniko". Ashwin said "enna first day of wedding eh bayangarama iruku?". Reena laughed and said "Here, I only finished half a cup, you can have the remaining". Ashwin, with a wide smile, said "Idhu nalla irukeyyy". They then spent their time talking about their wedding, singing songs and star gazing.
