Ashwin's parents have always made sure that happiness and peace of mind matters the most, especially after his past. So, they wanted to talk to him first. The conversation went on about asking Ashwin told him to not dwell on the past. Whatever happens, life has to go forward. As each day passes by, we learn new lessons. Happy moments are to be cherished and unexpected ones should be taken as lessons. Ashwin was convinced, but not 100%. He told them "I am happy to just get to know first, I wouldn't want to make it awkward for any of us by jumping straight into marriage or stuff" Parents then said "That's exactly what we want as well. There's absolutely no point talking about everything when the both of you don't know each other well. Take time to get to know and see if things work out". Ashwin's parents talked to Reena's parents and wanted to know their thoughts. They explained their thoughts, Ashwin's thoughts and said that there is no compulsion. Reena's parents said we are not sure of what is on daughter's mind, but since you all have come forward, we will try talking to her about it. Ashwin's parents said "Sure, we are fine with it. Let's see if they both are okay with this, because, end of the day, it's their lives and they are the ones who should make decisions". Reena's parents then talked about Ashwin to Reena once she got back home from work. Being an introvert, she has always tended to listen to their parents. But she told them "I might need some time; I'll make sure it's not awkward". At that moment, the parents thought 'How are the both of them saying same things?'. But they just remained silent and told Reena "It's totally up to you ma, talk only if you're comfortable. This was just a suggestion, if you are not comfortable with it, then don't do it ma".
