TW: swearing (I think they will swear in all chapters so, idk)

'What the fu-' James exclaimed.

'Hi.' A faint voice greeted him.
James turned around, to see the dark haired boy in the corner. 'I... I wanted to speak.'

'Look, Regulus. I am very sorry about all, I should have asked for your consent, and I know yo-' James couldn't finish his sentence. The younger boy pressed his lips to the older one's. His breath smelles like honey, James noted.

The kiss felt like forever, but in real life, it only lasted a few moments.

'I guess we're even.' Regulus smirked.

'What? I... I don't understand.' James strutted.

'Potter... we all know you aren't the brightest, but don't getting this. Even after I kissed you, jeez.' Regulus shook his head 'I fvcking like you!'

'You... you do?' James's voice trembled.

'Yes? You are an idiot for Merlin's sake, no offence.' He smirked.

James stepped forward and hugged Regulus tightly. If he had to choose any particular feeling, he'd say he felt safe. He felt safe burying his face in the others hair. He felt safe running his fingers on the younger's spine.

'We'll be late from dinner.' Regulus sighted.

'Can't we stay?' James mumbled into the others neck. He felt Regulus shiver beneath his breath.

'I'm hungry, sorry, not sorry.'

'If you are so hungry, I know a secret passageway to the Great Hall.' James adjusted his glasses.

'Starving.' Regulus laughed.

James took his hand, and started bragging him.

'If I remember right, behind this picture is-' James moved the painting. From behind it a small gust of wind hit their face. 'C'mon.'

The passageway was thin and was like a labyrinth, but the older boy seemed to know each turns. Sometimes he looked back and smiled. He felt incredibly happy.

'Tis is it.' James said behind something that looked like bricks. 'I guess I'll see you around?'

'Maybe, you will.' Regulus leaned closer. James finished the motion and kissed him.

'See ya!' James said as he exited the small corridor.

'Wait!' Regulus grabbed his wrist and pressed his lips on the other's.

James smirked but left the corridor at last. The Great Hall was a few metres away, so he easily got there.

'James! Where were you?' Sirius asked as he sat down.

'Got some business to do.' James shrugged.

'Do you mean the Hufflepuff girl that's been following you since September, by business?' Sirius winked.

'No! Sirius what the fvck! I told you I don't fancy her.'

'Yeah, sure.' Sirius smirked.

'Prongs the sun is shining on you!' Remus nudged him.

'Then let it shine, I don't care.'

'C'mon we're gonna be late cause of you!' The hazel haired boy shook his head 'And we haven't even had our breakfast.'

'Okay I'm coming, jeez.' James quickly got out of bed and changed into his robes.

The Great Hall was full, as always at this time of the day. The Marauders sat down chattering. Peter started eating a toast with cheese, Remus ate crepes with cocoa powder, and Sirius ate apple pie. James took some toast too and spread them with butter.

'So next week is full moon?' Peter asked.

'Yes...' Remus shifted uncomfortably. 'On Saturday. '

'I tought maybe we could bring some food and water.' Peter continued 'I was a bit thirsty, to be honest.'

'That's a good idea Wormy!' Sirius patted his shoulder.

'Yeah it really is!' James approved too.

'And as I was sa.....

Something caught James's eyes. A tallish black haired boy walking in with two, a year older than him boys. One of them had brown hair and the other greasy black. The younger probably told a joke because the others were laughing. For a minute James could've sworn, that the younger Black glanced in his way, but then he sat down.

When Regulus looked in his way again James slightly smiled and nodded, so no one else but he could see it.

After the Marauders finished their breakfast, they stood up and went in the direction of the Potions classroom.

'I fricking hate Slughorns's classes.' Sirius exclaimed.

'Well you won't have to go from next year.' James said.

'Yeah, I guess you're right.'
