James had an awful good Christmas so far. Music boosting, lots dancing and him stopping to converse with every second person. The fireplace that wasn't even in James's mind asking for a christmassy room had beautiful flames licking it's glass door. The boosting music was some muggle christmas song, and a mix of beatles and queen, due to Sirius, who just left him to talk to a hufflepuff.
On his way to the table full of food, and some booze him and the marauders smuggled, he stopped to annoy Mary who tried to ward off some boys, and then appeared next to Peter who was eating cheese and chocolate and crunchy sticks.
'How are you doing?'
'Nothing much.' Peter's voice was slightly muffled by the food in his mouth. 'This chocolate is delicious.'
'You're so right.' James said a bit after he tasted the said food.
'I know.' he nodded 'It's amazing.'
James bidded goodbye to his friend and swindled away to the hidden couch Cedrina and Regulus was sitting at. Cedrina was wearing a lime green dress which reached mid thigh, and on her feet a mary jane. Regulus wore a dress pant, a pair of moccasins and a light grey button up shirt, which's top two button was unbuttoned. He was sitting lazily, his legs on the arms of the sofa, yet his posture was sculpture like. James sat between them, and hid one of his hand's in Regulus's, which was invisible to the naked eye.
He felt the boy tense to the touch, but he quickly reclaimed his slouch over the sofa.
'Hi James!' he said, and James replied while sending a smile to Cedrina.
In the next full minutes they chatted about Christmas, about certain people and whether they like the party, only to be stopped by Persephone and Pandora entering the hidden part of the room. This couch was most likely in this position, because James's subconscious wanted to spend some time with his boyfriend, hidden from plain sight. Persephone then smiled and ordered them to look up, where a mistletoe was blossoming.
'I'm going to kill you!' Regulus said, with an easy tone.
'Come on! Rules are rules!' Perse replied with the same pitch.
Regulus then pulled James closer and gave a quick kiss on his lips, causing the other boy to smile.
