Melissa was going to kill Tiberius. He had gone too far this time! It was one thing to play prank after prank on her, it was entirely a different thing to make off with her baby!
"Sarah, I'm going to kill your son!"
Her friend swung her eyes around, looked to where Tiberius had been with Carolyn only moments before, then to the substitution log that was now there. Her mouth dropped open, "Tiberius James Hatake! Where are you?!"
Kakashi's eyes also widened, "I'm going to blister his backside this time!"
Tiberius snickered as he watched the chaos unfolding from the safety of the trees. He looked down at the baby snuggled in his arms and grinned. She was a cute little thing, even if she was drooling all over his favorite shirt.
"Whatcha say, Carolyn, you wanna go on an adventure with me?" She blinked her big eyes up at him and gave him a slobbery smile. "Good, I'm glad you're in."
He adjusted her in his arms before walking towards town. It would serve them right to worry a little. He shuddered as he thought about what he saw the other day. Is that what adults did? Gross. He was never going to do that! He jumped when Obito suddenly jumped out from behind a tree.
"You're sooooo dead," Obito said with a snicker.
"Ssssh," he responded with a grin. "They don't know where we are and you better keep your mouth shut tattletale."
"Where are you going?" Obito asked as he fell in step with him.
"Gonna see grandma," he responded. "Maybe we can get some free Ramen."
"Babies don't eat ramen, you should give her back."
Tiberius ignored the comment and continued walking. Obito fell in step with him and shoved his hands into his pockets, every so often kicking a rock that was in front of him.
"What's your deal with Auntie Lissa anyways? Why you always doing stuff to her?"
Tiberius shrugged and adjusted Carolyn on his hip. "At first it was just fun to watch her face get all red. Now it's just habit."
"Don't you like her?"
"Of course I like her," Ti said with a frown at him. "I wouldn't bother her if I didn't like her."
"You're a weirdo," Obito muttered. "That's not how to make people like you. Especially not stealing their babies."
Tiberius smirked and looked down at Carolyn who was watching him with giant eyes. "Did I steal you or did you come with me?"
She grinned at him and grabbed his chin with sticky drool fingers. He laughed, "See, she wanted to come. I like this kid."
"Aunt Lissa is gonna kill you," Obito predicted.
"Ha," Tiberius responded. "She gotta find me first. Besides, Carolyn is safe with me. I won't let nothing happen to her AND... I'm gonna be a Genin soon. I heard them talking, they're gonna graduate me soon like they did Dad."
Obito frowned at him, "That isn't fair. I'm smarter than you are."
"But your Ninjutsu isn't as good as mine," Tiberius gloated. "Book smarts and skill smarts are different when being a Shinobi. How did you find me anyways?"
"We're twins," Obito muttered. "I always know where you are."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Obito tilted his head to the side then slowly smiled, "You don't have it, do you?" He started laughing, "So I finally got something you don't!"
