Melissa almost wilted when Sarah looked up from her phone and gave her a thumbs up. She could not believe Tiberius stole her baby. Of all the things he'd done, this was the worst. It wasn't that she thought he would hurt Carolyn, it was that he was so rambunctious that she worried he would hurt her on accident. Sarah hung up the phone and looked at Kakashi who had been fuming on the opposite side of the room. Obito had also disappeared and where there was one, usually the other followed.
"Tiberius took Carolyn with him to Mom's. Iruka is there now and has them both. Apparently Obito was not part of this but was with him," Sarah explained to both. "Carolyn is fine. She said he was actually very gentle with her."
Kakashi's eye narrowed and he started towards the door. Sarah's eyes widened because she had seen that look before. "Now Kakashi... he's-"
"No!" Kakashi said as he lifted the headband that was covering the Sharingan. "He's gone too far this time, Sarah, and I'm going to deal with him. He can't keep acting like a rogue ninja!"
Sarah flinched as Kakashi stormed out of the house and slammed the door behind him. She had never seen him that mad with Tiberius. He had a lot more patience than she did most of the time with the boy but his father had been pushed to his limit. The boy had been getting out of hand. It seemed like the better he got at Ninjutsu, the worst his behavior had gotten. She gave a heavy sigh.
"I'm sorry Melissa... I don't understand why he has gotten so out of control. It's not like we don't punish him when he acts up," Sarah dropped in a chair with a thud. "Obito is so easy but Ti... it's like he's got something riding him."
As if a storm was coming, Obito came running into the house with wide eyes. "Dad's gonna kill, Ti! He had his Sharingan out and everything when he grabbed Ti from Iruka Sensei and went off with him!"
"And why didn't you come tell us where he was?" Sarah asked with narrowed eyes.
Obito shifted nervously, "Um... I was keeping an eye on him?"
"Wrong answer," Sarah growled. "Room, now. Don't come out until I call you."
Obito hightailed it to his bedroom. Melissa started heading towards the door. "I'm going to go see about Carolyn."
Sarah gave a nod while rubbing her head. She sat at the table for a long time as she contemplated how they were going to corral Tiberius better. She didn't want to break his spirit but they had to find something to channel all that energy into. If he expended enough energy, he'd be too tired to be pulling pranks all the time.
"Mama?"
"I thought I told you to..."
Sarah stopped as she looked at Obito. He was wearing one of Kakashi's old masks and looked so cute in it that it gave her some pause. She then blinked and was stunned as she watched his eyes slowly change to the same blue fire that she would have when her chakra was at it's peak. She then saw that his hands were glowing with blue fire. It was just as she had seen when she had fully focused and had gone into the far distant future.
"Obito! You opened your Dōjutsu!"
"Mama... I saw strange images," he said with some confusion, his voice talking very fast. "It came into my mind when I went to my room. I have to wear a mask, Mama, like Dad. It's important for some reason."
"Baby, slow down," Sarah said as she took him by his shoulders. "What kind of images did you see?"
"Strange people with white skin and purple eyes... They're coming," he whispered. "Not soon but in the future. They want to destroy our world."
