Chapter17: Packing up for a adventure

Ava POV

The tabloids went crazy when they found out that I had Alex. But nothing would have prepared me for what was going to happen next. They are now claiming that because of Alex's birth , the band is starting to seperate and the end is near. That could not be any farther from the truth. Luke was in the operating room when Alex was born.The band is stronger than ever. They are like Ashton's brothers , family doesnt betray family. The last few weeks have been crazy, we havent gotten much sleep with Alex waking in the night. I hope when we are in europe he gets into some sort of scheduale. I knew parenthood would be hard but not as bad as it actually is. My mom still hasnt came to see Alex, and he has been home for 5 weeks. Any normal grandparent would want to see their grandchild. I wonder if it is because she figures we are leaving in 2 weeks to head to europe but I still want her around. The boys come around almost everyday to see him , and they hold him and cuddle him. The boys are excitted that me and Alex are going on tour with them. " He still smells so good, I love it" Michael says as he holds a sleepy Alex. " I know he does, he is my son. you guys can hangout wiith him. I have to go pack" I say to them and wal downstairs. I then reach the room that me and Ash share and the pack and play that Alex sleeps in. I open the drawers with all of the clothes that he has and opens a small suitcase. We didnt get very many clothes for him because I knew we were going to be on the road . I got out all of the clothes Lauren bought us and a few other things like pants and pjs and socks the usual stuff. We decided that we will not be giving Alex a pacifier unless he needs it when we travel. I dont want to be dependant on a soother to keep my child calm. I then start to open my closet and look at my clothes. I havent been able to wear some of these thiings because I have been pregnant but now I can. I am almost back to my pre pregnancy weight and size. I decide to grab about 2 weeks worth of clothes and pack it in my suitcase because I willhave more clothes when we get to london. I dont want to pack Ash's stuff because he knows what he wants. After orgainizing and packing everything it their respective suitcases I step back and can't believe it. I am a wife of a drummer in a punk rock band who is supporting One Direction , the biggest band in the world. 

Ashton POV 

As we chill out by the pool with Alex, I start to think that in a week we are going to be in Los Angelos , and then heading to London to tour with 1D. Alex won't remember  these next few months but we will and we will tell him all about it. I decided that I wanted to keek. I wanted to let the fans into what we are doing. " Hey guys , so we are just chilling by the pool and we just wanted to tell you that we are excited to see you in London. Also Alex will be there, luke is holding him now." I say to my iphone camera and then tun it towards the boys and turn it off. I am happy with my life. I have a son and a beautiful wife. I never imagined that my life would turn out the way it did but it happened. I now , get to follow my dreams with going on tour with my best friends and travel the world. A year ago, I wasn't sure where my life was headed, I was having the time of my life but it was without the person who I wanted to be by my side. It has and always will be Ava. Now I have to go and pack my bags and head to the airport and head to LA.
