Chapter21: First night in LA

Ashton POV

Me and Ava walked downstairs trying not to wake up the boys and Alex. We headed into the kitchen and opened the fridge. " Wow, we have alot of food to eat while we are here" I say to Ava as she leans on the counter. "That will not last very long wth you guys especially Michael around " Ava says with a smirk on her face. " That is true, and what also is true is that I love you and nothing will change that." I tell her as I place my hands on ethier side of her face and kiss her, she kisses me back. After a quick kiss, I make us a snack and we hear that the boys were waking up . Ava walks over to them and picks up Alex and holds him close. "Thank you for taking care of him, I really appeciate it " Ava thanks them as they all stand up and hug them. I then walk over to Ava and take Alex from her and walk into the kitchen and see Ava talking to the other boys.

Ava POV

" I would like to thank you guys for taking care of him when we were upstairs " I say to them and they look at me with a smile on their face. " No problem, thats what friends do Ava. We love at little guy over there. Ok so what are we doing this afternoon Ash ?" Michael says to me and it makes me smile. " Well, I might just stay here with Alex and get him used to his timezone. Maybe I will come out , he was asleep so he should be ok. I will change him and them we can do whatever. " I say and walk into the other room and change him .

Luke POV

I think that motherhood is good on Ava. She really loves her son and that is amazing. She isnt one of the people who will leave her child with a nanny 24/7 . That is admirable about her and makes me love her. I still love her alot, but im not going to ruin a family and a marriage over it. I now know that sometimes you have to set the people you love free and not keep them in your life for selffish reasons, romatically. I think that eventually Ava and Ashton would have found eachother again if me and her will still dating. They have so much history that it is enivitable. Now I see her as a mom and a wife and it makes me happy. She has went through so much in her life and the little baby she has makes her so happy. Soon Ava came through the door and back intot he living room holding Alex and I smiled at her. " So I have changed him so we can do whatever we want . I am ready I just have to grab the diaper bag and we can head out. " Ava says and passes Alex to Ashton to put him in the car seat. " I will call John and the crew to meet us at the park." I say as I put the phone to my ear.

Ava POV

I climb into the car and sit next to Alex who is sleepy. I love watching him sleep, it gives me a sense of calm to know that he is safe and ok. I have waited for him for so long , he is my one and only. But hopefully not for long. I want more kids and I know Ashton does to. I am an only child , and Ash has 2 other siblings. So he is used to a lot of noise around. For a split second the fighting will be something I cherish but after the moment is over , it is going down. I think that I will have a big family. I know that my mom wasn't very supportive when Alex was born , she never came to see me in the hospital , or when we were home. I don't know if it was because I was living with Ashton's family or what but she still hasn't see him. I hope whatever is going on will mend in the future because I want Alex to know both of his grandma's while he has them around. I can't think about that now, I have my little boy to worry about. Within a few minutes we reach the park and security have arrived. We don't need a lot , its not like we are going out to a restaurant or an event where we might need more. I feel very comfortable with the security team around, they are important to us and they also relieve some anxiety with fans and Alex. They know how to deal with the fans , the boys and now the baby. I thank them everyday for it. When we reached the park we all headed to the grass area and set out a blanket. The last time that I did this sort of thing was about a year ago with Luke when we were just starting to date. Wow my life has changed so much in such a short amount of time. Since Alex was sleeping , I left him in his car seat as we all sat on the blanket. " Wow, it is such a beautiful evening to sit in the park and chill." Ashton said as I placed my head on his shoulder. " After a few moments of peace, Luke , Michael and Calum decided to go to the swings like five year olds. " Oh my god, they are crazy" I said as I looked at my friends run to the swing set. " Yep, but they are my friends and i love them." Ashton said. " Go, be with them i am fine with him here" I say as I kiss his cheek. "Ok, i love you" He says and kisses. Then runs towards the swing set. Oh my life.
