Chapter8: Surprises and exciting things

Ashton POV 

I knew that I had the whole afternoon to prepare the suprise for Ava. I know that she would have wanted her father at the wedding and for im to be here for the birth of his grandson . The last time I met with him , he gave me this small box about a child's shoe box with something in it that I was suppose to give to her when we got married. I never looked in the box because he told me that I could only look in the box when we were together and were married. At the time we were 15 and I knew that holding onto this box would be something that Ava's dad wanted so I did. I never opened it even after we broke up because I knew somehow I would probably see Ava again and I could give it to her than. I set the small box on the table and went into the bathroom and took a long shower. 

Ava POV 

" So , how far along are you?" The spa worker . " I am , due in about 2 weeks and I am on my honeymoon this weekend" I said to her as she gave me a prenatal massage. " Wow , that is coming up quick , and congratulations on both monuental occasions who is thelucky guywho has you as his beautiful bride? . " She told me and it made me feel good aswell as asked me. " I am married to Ashton Irwin from 5 Seconds of Summer , and he is the father. Please don't discuss anything that I tell you with the other workers or even the press. I know that some people like to leak stories. They want to get their five seconds of fame. " I told her hoping that she would understand . " Nothing you tell me will leave this room. Don't tell anyone but I usually forget what my cliens tell me. I dont want to carry around their personal thoughts. " Shetold me and it reassured me. I continued my day at the spa . But I couldn't wait to get back to Ashton. He is my man now and I love the dork. 

Ashton POV 

I knew I couldn't give away that I was going to give a gift to Ava. So I put on my black muscle tee and black skinny jeans and a bandana. I was walking around and waiting for Ava to come back so I decided to make a Keek , I wasn't sure if I was going to upload it but you never know. " Hi guys, I am currently in a hotel waiting for Ava to come back from a spa afternoon and I got bored so I wanted to say hi and tell you that we have a signing coming up in a abour 2 weeks from now. I don't know if I will be there. I could possibly be a new dad or pretty close to it. I hope you understand and btw I have a surprise for Ava whe she gets back. Don't tweet at her about it I want it to be special. BYE!!!" I said as the video finished. I then waited for Ava to come back. Within a few minutes, Ava was back and was ready to chill out. " Ash, I need a nap the baby is making me tired. give me like 15 minutes" Ava said to me. " Ava, I will let you sleep but first I haveto give you something" I said as I grabbed her hand and brought her to the living area of our huge hotel room. " I have been keeping something for years and it is the right time to give it to you. " I told Ava not knowing what her reaction would be. " What is it Ashton can it wait?" I heard Ava say." No, this needs to happen now. Ava, the last time I saw your dad alive he gave me this. It was a period when we were not getting along and when you stepped out the room for 5 minutes he gave this box to me. He told me that I had to give this to you when we got married. He told me to keep it and not tell you about it because he wanted you to have it now. I didnt  know why he wanted me to give whatever is in here to you but he did. I hope you can more give me for keeping this from you. " I said as I passed her the small box that I had kept for many years. As Ava opened the box I could start to see tears well up in her eyes. " Ash , look " Those were the only words she could get out because of what she was holding in her hands. What she had in her hands was a necklace with a a drum kit and a A charm on it for me and a necklace with an A and a quote saying you promised keep her safe Ashton. I couldn't express my emotions. There was also one more thing left in the box. Something that one of us expected. One of his own necklaces . It was his half of the necklace that Ava wore all of the time. His my daugther has my heart dog tag. " Ashton, I have to wear this he would want me too. " Ava told me with tears pouring from her eyes. I put the necklace on her and she smilied. 

Ava POV 

I just got the shock of my life besides finding out I was pregnant of course. Which was that Ashton recieved a gift from my father before he passed away and was supposed to keep it until we got married since he couldn't make it. I was surprised beyond belief and had to celebrate this moment with Ashton if you know what I mean.
