Chapter9: Back to reality

Ashton POV 

After 2 days away from reality it was time to get back to real life and start the final preparations for the baby. I don't know how we are going to break the news to th grandmas that we are taking their new grandson away with us but we will figure it out. We still also have to pick a name for the little guy. Ava and I need to talk about it still. 

Ava POV 

I feel huge and ready to have this baby. At this point it is just a waiting game for when he wants to come. I know that the fans want to meet him as well. I also think that the media might critize us for bringing him on tour but I want Ash to have a relationship with his son. We had made it back to Ashton's mom's house and no one was home. It gave us a few minutes to get settled and bring things to his room . I knew that lifting things would be difficult this late in the pregnancy so I decided that I was going to sit and wait because I didn't want to pull anything. Soon Ashton arrived back on the main floor and we decided to talk for abit. " We have to figure out what his name is going to be . " I told ashton as I grabbed my laptop and pulled up a website filled with babynames. " Alexander , Aiden , Miles " I asked trying to figure out the perfect name . " How about we let the fans choose from 4 names it could be fun" Ashton asked me. I didn't really want my child's name to be pickeb by people we don't know. It is our job to pick his name. But we will see. " How about we pick a name and see if the fans like it but we will not tell them the real name until he is born. Is that ok with you?" Ashton asked me and I agreed. I thought about it for a bit and it makes sense I guess . If it makes Ash happy , then it makes me happy. 

Ashton POV 

Me and Ava have finally decided on three names for the baby . They are Alexander , Aiden , Miles and Eduardo. I know that it is not the best way to pick a baby name but I don't care. Ava is fine with it and so am I. We have decided that his name was going to be . His name is going to be Alexander Fletcher Irwin. We both love this name and it can be very safisticated name for a child of a drummer and a pop culture journalist. I love it that we can choose a name for a person that we don't know yet. I know that I sort of ended Ava's career by getting her pregnant but she is now going to work for us and be one of our publisits because she knows how stories come out about other people. I now have to tell the fans that we need "help" picking the baby's name. "Hey guys, Im at home today while the rest of the boys are doing press things. Trying to get everything ready for the baby. Ava and I need your help with a name. We have  Alexander , Aiden , Miles and Eduardo. I want you to comment on twitter you name pick and you will find out the name when he comes. Talk to you soon , BYE!" I said into the camera. 

Luke POV 

" You have one member missing today ? Ashton is no where to be found" asked Angus the interviewer. " Yes , he is not here with us today because he is with his wife Ava and is preparing for the birth of his son" Michael said. " It will be interesting , having a baby on tour but it can be fun " Calum said . " Yeah , so we can expect pics of you guys and the baby. Which will bring up the adorabliness factor of you guys" Angus said and it made me blush. " Yeah , Ava will probaby want us to hold the baby and have pictures done and stuff the that. She will be the mom that takes tons of pictures. " Calum said and I agreed . It was weird having to spend some time without Ashton , but it makes us realize that we miss him in the band. We continued on with the interviews and went out for lunch with Ava and Ashton. 

Ashton POV 

We were going to meet up the boys for lunch , it was going to be a good lunch.  I want to know to spend some time with my friends before the baby comes. I know that Ava may not want to go out but it will be god for her to leave the house and do something fun before we are locked away in my parent's house for 2 and a half months before we leave for tour. I am excitted that the baby will be with me  I will have my little man and my girl with me . That is all that matters. The boys matter to me too but that is besides the point. I will have my little family with me and I may have to bring him on stage with mega headphones once while we are performing. It will be so cute and the fans will eat it up. I am excitted to meet my baby boy and I think the fans are too. 

Ava POV 

I like to hang out with my friends. I also will love my family, and my mini one that will come about in only a few days. Ashton , me and the boys are going out to lunch . I am just scared that the paps will catch me and my big belly , making it a huge news story.  Anyways , I sat down next to Ash and we ordered our foods and hung out with our friends. 

Ashton POV 

Since we all went out together , twitter went mad and there was about a hundred fans outside the resteraunt. I knew that this was going to be a dangerous thing but it was going to be a good thing. The guys left before us with some security guards . Then I let Ava go next with 3 security guards one of which was mine and the others were the boys's security because they knew we would need some extra security because of the baby. We then all made it to the car and headed off home to my mom's house which is our hang out spot. 

Ava POV 

We had made it home from our afternoon out and I was exhausted so I decided to take a nap. I put my purse down on the counter and then walked down to Ashton's room. I then changed out of my day outfit into someothing more confortable. I decided to grab one of ashton's shirt which still can fit over my swollen belly and lied down on the bed . I knew that a nap would be good for me because the amount of sleep will be minimal because of having a newborn. I slowly started to fall asleep and drift off to a land that would soon be a reality in only a few days. 

Ashton POV 

I knew that Ava would need a nap after we got home because going out when you are this heavily pregnant is a task. So me and the boys decided to play some video games and watch tv. A few hours later after we ate , I go a phone call saying that we needed to do a quick radio gig and that we all needed to go. I didn't want to go but Ava would want me to go because it would get me out of the house for a bit. So I packed up a few things and left with the guys hoping to be back soon.
