#167: Ready to Run - aurora1dpreferences

Harry: There’s a lightning in your eyes I can’t deny. Then there’s me inside a sinking boat, running out of time. Without you I’ll never make it out alive, but I know, yes I know we’ll be alright.

(His P.O.V.) I felt terrible for making her go though this. She was so happy, a constant spark in her eyes. Yet, she sill stuck with me, making sure I didn’t live a moment without a smile on my face. Before I had met her, there was no way I would’ve gotten better. There were days where my bed would be my best friend, and at most, I would leave to use the bathroom. Now… well, my whole world has changed. She’s brought this light into my life that I thought I’d never see. When we were cuddled up on the couch watching TV or anything, I was at my best. She brought out the brightness in me. I guess one could say we were the perfect balance. As long as I had her in my life, things would be just fine.

Liam: There’s a devil in your smile, it’s chasing me. And every time I turn around, it’s only gaining speed. There’s a moment when you finally realize, there’s no way you can change the rolling tide.

(His P.O.V.) No matter how hard I tried to ignore my feelings for her, it was just impossible. Every place I went, there she was, making my heart race and my palms sweat. What was happening to me? No girl had ever made me feel this way before. The only question I had left to ask myself was what I was going to do about it. I mean, yes, I could ask her out. Maybe it was meant to be if she kept showing up. Possibly some sort of sign. It was as I was sitting there thinking about it that I finally came to my conclusion. I was just going to ask her out and be prepared for any answer. She was definitely worth the risk.

Niall: This time I’m ready to run. Escape from the city and follow the sun. Cause I wanna be yours, do you wanna be mine? I don’t wanna get lost in the dark of the night.

(His P.O.V.) I sat cuddled up to (Y/N) on the couch, getting out the last of my rant. Today had just been the cherry on top of the whole thing. “I’m just so tired (Y/N)…” I mumbled against her shoulder. Her fingers were tangled in my hair, stroking soothingly. “Then why don’t we go away? Get out of the city for a little bit and just… run away?” her small voice spoke up. “Really?” I asked, looking up from my place  on her shoulder. “Yeah. We could just pack up the car and head out for a weekend. Babe, it would be great for the both of us.” Her eyes were genuine, not an ounce of deception on her face. My answer came quickly. “Please princess. Please, I would absolutely love to.” “Then we leave Friday,” she grinned, pecking me softly. I can’t wait.

Zayn: There’s a future in my life I can’t foresee. Unless of course I stay on course and keep you next to me.

You weren’t expecting this at all. Once moment you were sitting next to him on the couch, the next he was on his knees in front of you. “(Y/N), I wanted to do this in private because I was scared of getting emotional. Anyways (Y/N), since we got together, my future was just you. Now, after three years, things have never been more clear. You are my future, my one and only, my boo.” He swallowed, smiling widely. “Which is why tonight, I want to ask you a very important question.” Taking a deep breath, he took your hands tightly. “I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Your eyes began to water and a huge smile spread across your face. “Oh Zayn, yes. Of course I will!”

Louis: There will always be the kind that criticize. But I know, yes I know we’ll be alright.

You sat in front of the computer screen, reading all the comments dissing yours and Louis’ relationship. It had been going on the entire seven months and you honestly thought it would’ve died down by now. “Whatcha looking at babe?” Louis asked, catching you slight off guard. “Oh nothing,” you smiled, trying to hide the hurt in your eyes. “Alright,” he smiled, coming to sit at the table with you. “Now, are you gonna tell me the truth or what?” Of course he could see right through the charade. “Just twitter…” you sighed out, closing the laptop. “I know,” he chuckled slightly. “I see it too. Boo, you have to remember that there are people who are going to criticize us. But as long as we’re together, it’ll be alright. No one will ever change my mind about you.”
