Melody Octyne:
Melody Octyne is one of the soldiers by DJ Octavio himself, her history is rather slim but rumors said that her sister who was either dead or alive and first appeared in "CHP 7: The Unthinkable Act" almost killed Red in the process without her will while being in control by one of the hypnoshades and almost gotten killed too with the ink bombs surprised by Red with her friend ultimately dying in the process leaving her back to her normal self once the hypnoshades got out of her face.
Personality:
She is a kind-hearted girl with an innocent smile... But not as innocent as the little munchkin Angela. She can be shy at times with people who aren't in their octarian army, especially with Red himself. Even though she seems harmless, she can be a tough gal and one of the top octarians in her section. Is one of the first-ever octoling that escaped in the hands of Octavio alongside her best friend Marina too, with her heart slowly warming to Red and her feelings trying to release themselves to him, she has a long way to go in her journey with her newfound friends and family.

Skills/Techniques:
She is very strong at lifting things and has good reflexes. Also can easily fake her death by hiding in her ink by almost getting blown up by Red in her first encounter with him as she got away alive on that one showing superior strength against the impending pain.
Weapons/Arsenal:
She has a limited variety of weapons at first with her being in the Octarian army, but with her joining the side of the Squidbeak Splatoon, she has tons of weapons to use against all of her enemies.
