So bright was the sun
That the shadows had to run
I could feel the rays touch and go
I could feel the pain vaporize and go
Turned to shadow for a glance
Regretted the waste of chance
Unnecessary, involuntary I don't know
Pain, sorrow I did know
Just one turn to make things bright
But the clouds had created the darkest sight
Darkness wasn't just a shadow anymore
Sunshine wasn't there no more
Everything started to feel cold
Searching for that glitter of gold
Sun had left, pushing me into the longest night
A streak of moon pulled me from the darkest night
Darkness was still around
But the moon did guide me sound
Just me, moon and darkness
Realising moon only came with darkness
Always saw that shine of sun in moon
Right now she felt brighter than the sun in noon
She'll never be the sun I lost
But she provided more than whatever I lost
Transparent in the brightness of sun
Invisible in the darkness of moon
Warmth of the sun
Breeze of the moon
