I feel silent. . . numb. . . empty. . . lost again. . .

I don't know what to do or feel anymore. . . Everything had been thrown on me at once. . . and it's just. . .

"You're frustrated. .. overwhelmed. . . I get it." I hear Akio say softly from the behind. I just closed my eyes and lowered my hands down, bowing my heads in the process, and in shame. "And you had a feeling that there might be something more to my intentions than helping you have a life . . . I'm sorry for all the burdens that came along with all of this. . ." I feel his hand was being placed onto my shoulder, but I brushed it off and turned my body to face him. However, I still didn't dare to look into his eyes since this came out of nowhere.

I know it was completely random. . . but. . . these things had been getting to my head lately and I just don't know what to do with myself anymore. . . I feel ashamed to even think of such accusations, but then again. . . I can't help but feel hurt too, and think that there is more to it just to pity me. . . a total stranger. . . giving me life just like that for no reason. . .

"Just be honest with me Akio. . ." I told him with a serious tone as my stare fixated onto my feet while my hand was rubbing my left upper arm. "Why did you do it? And I want to know the real reason behind it. . ." There was a huge pause that lasted for a minute or so.

Just as I was about to get an answer from my previous life the air around the atmosphere became heavier again. Colder. Darker. It wasn't critical like last time, because this is only the start of it all.

Oh god, not again.

"I'm sorry my little Flame." Akio apologized in a rush before he got closer to me and placed the tip of his thumbs against the middle of my forehead, taking away my consciousness once more.

Once again, I feel my groggy eyes flutter open slowly and the next thing I knew, I was on a bed, inside the school nurse's room. I wanted to get up, but I couldn't. I felt so sore and exhausted. My head was hurting a little as well. . .

"Miyuki!" I hear Keiko's sweet voice called me, making me turn my head to the other side. There she was, the brunette girl who had been sitting on that chair beside me for some time. "How are you feeling?" She asked me with concern as I feel her hand give a gentle squeeze to mine.

"Fine. . ." I breathed out weakly as I touched my forehead only to feel the cold rag that had been placed onto it. I took it off and placed it back into the bowl on the bed-side-table. "What happened?"

"You blacked out on the hallway." The nurse answered as she placed a glass of water next to the desk. " Mr. Yoshida and Ms. Yukimura brought you here."

"How long was I out?" I asked as I got up from the small bed and fixed my black locks away from my face.

"Only for like forty minutes." Keiko informed me. "However, Mr. Yoshida left to inform the principal about your whereabouts."

"I also informed your mother about it, and from what I can see, it would be wise if you take the day off for now and get plenty of rest." The nurse told me. Before I can open my mouth, the door of the nurse's room burst open, revealing my mother and Yusuke behind.

"Where is she?" Atsuko demanded as she walked in with Yusuke trailing down behind her. When he saw me, he rushed to Keiko's and mine's side fast.

"I bumped into mom and she told me everything." My brother said with his face reflecting worry. "What happened? Are you okay?" I just silently nod my head in reply as I began to rub my face with my hands.
