CH46 - Sensui's End

A battle cry escaped from Yusuke's lips as his powers were engulfing his entire frame. He didn't know what was happening, and in the end, he never got to see what is going on the outside world.

The voice that had made himself inside Yusuke's head, it triggered the demon side, unlocking its potentials on the long run. The teens hair grew enormously long while turning while like his sibling's hair. The veins on his muscles began to pop out here and there as strange markings began to glow as well on the boy's skin which eventually left markings that no one had ever seen before. On shoulders, chest, and even under his eyes, those tattoos appeared out of nowhere.

Since there was a blinding light hiding the Urameshi siblings, no one was able to see the transformation on the boy taking place. As for Miyuki, she stood by her brother's side while her own soul is going through its own transformation with the Flame of Light.

"URAMESHI!" Kuwabara cried out in worry as he tried to look through the glow and find his friends. However, his wish to see what's happening eventually came true, because the light started to fade away. "LOOK!" He exclaimed to his friends as all of them looked at the Urameshi siblings who walked forward side by side in silence, bewildered at the sudden change of appearance. Miyuki was still looking down at her feet while Yusuke was holding his chin high, his now sharpened demon eyes looking directly into Shinobu's soul who just got stunned by shock with feet glued on the sand.

"I've waited a long time for this." The Urameshi boy spoke up, his voice deeper than usual, and it was slightly echoing, like he was still inside the cave.

"What in the heck is going on here? And what's with that hair?" Kazuma demanded, not believing that the person that is down there in front of the enemy was actually his friend. "He looks like he's been playing around with an electric socket. And why is Miyuki acting like some zombie?"

"I don't know what triggered this, but it appears Yusuke's body has finally accepted the transformation the Mazoku desired. " Kurama observed the situation. "As for Miyuki's case, I'm not sure but there might a chance for something changing within her. . . something big. . ."

After some seconds passing, Sensui got through his shocked state and smiled in satisfaction.

"This is perfect." He said out loud, his smirk growing wider, something that did not go unnoticed by the audience above him and his opponents.

"Did you guys see that?!" Kuwabara asked incredulously."Sensui cracked a smile when he saw the other freaky half-breed! He really is an arrogant creep, isn't he?"

"Pretty much, but that's beside the point." Koenma replied to the orange haired teen's statement. "It's not Yusuke's change that Sensui smirks at. Even from this vantage point I can tell that Sensui is undergoing a profound transcendent metamorphosis. A Spiritual Awakening if you will."

"Spiritual Awakening?" Kazuma questioned curiously.

"Back in the cave, this fighting was filled with such loathing and callousness: self-hatred." The brunette teen pointed out. "His heart was so dark, even for a bad guy. But now that's gone."
