Chapter 28
Last time on SEVENTEEN...
"Kim's already onto the fact that we're planning something." Seungcheol told them. "And it's only a matter of time before he unleashes the hounds to look for us and a giant bloodbath and a trail of bodies come in behind him." He told them. "What are you talking about Hyung?" Chan asked his elder brother. And Seungcheol knew that he couldn't stall this any longer. He motioned for Woozi to come over with his laptop. The younger got up and stood in front of his leader, and fiddled with this computer for a couple of seconds. He then turned it around and sat it down on the coffee table to show them all what was on it. Everyone gasped at what they saw. This was a whole lot more serious than they thought it was going to be.
Woozi had their website pulled up on his laptop. Though it was just a dummy site that he had set up for a travel agency as a way for people to get into contact with them without being able to have it directly traced back to them. Normally it wasn't anything big that was ever posted on there. It was just short messages asking for their help in not so many words. Though this time it was different. This time, it was a whole letter of sorts in the site's inbox. And it shocked them all of who it was from.
The email read:
Dear Mr. Choi,
I am so sorry to be bothering you again, but since you never responded to my last message, I figured that I would have to up my game some, as the young people say. I know that you and I are not exactly seeing eye to eye on things, but I wish to amend that. If you let me of course. I went to your place of residence to speak with you but nobody was home. And I haven't been able to track you down just yet. So I figured what better way than to come to your website. I would like to meet up with you later this week, in a couple of days' time if you can. I am free all day, though I understand if you cannot meet me until later in the day. I hope that I have finally been able to reach you Mr. Choi. I would hate for something to happen to you or your associates before we get the chance to speak. I feel that we have a lot more in common to talk about than we both know. Otherwise, have a nice day and I look forward to seeing you again.
Sincerely,
Mr. Kim.
After everyone read the email, they all just stood around the laptop in various phases of shock, and terror. Kim hadn't exactly found out where they were, but he knew that they were not in the apartment anymore and that they were probably up to something. And he wanted to meet with them, so that meant that he had sent someone back to the apartment to try and catch them off guard, and do who knows what to them. That means that he is actively trying to get to them. Which means that Seungcheol is right and that they are backed into a corner. None of the other members were very happy about this. Of course, no one likes it when they are backed into a corner regardless, but it is different this time. At this point their situation is life or death, and having to be pushed into a corner can mean the difference between getting out, or getting out alive. And that scared all of them a whole lot more than any of them cared to admit.
"That's one sick SOB." Jin said, looking up from the laptop and turning to face Namjoon. "Well, don't just stand there you big oof." He told him. "What have you and the others come up with?" He asked him. And if the situation wasn't so serious, Seungcheol was pretty sure that he would have laughed at how Namjoon just melted to Jin's will, even though he was the leader of their group. He started to wonder if that's what he was like Jeonghan and Joshua. But now was not the time to really go an in depth analysis of his relationship with his lovers, another time though, another time. "Well," Namjoon said as he cleared his throat. "Like Seungcheol said, we don't really have a whole lot of options here." He said. "We have to meet with him." He said. "Then we just have to hope that we are able to get him to meet with us more on our terms than his." Namjoon told him. But that was when Seungcheol had to put his foot down.
