     Chapter 29

              After Bangtan left, SEVENTEEN immediately got to work. They only had 2 days to get their plan ready and finished before they met Kim. And it was very nerve racking. Seungcheol could tell that all of them were nervous, even the ones who were good at keeping a cool head under pressure were starting to feel the heat now. Seungcheol didn't blame them for it of course, he couldn't even if he wanted to. It would be very hypocritical of him to do so since he himself was terrified out of his mind as well. This was serious, if they screwed up the plan in any way then it was game over for them, and there was nothing that they could do to change that. If Kim won, then everything they had was lost.   

       Though Seungcheol had to stop thinking down that road. He had to keep himself stealed and up for anything. He needed to be focused and sharp. His life and the life of his team and the rest of their loved ones were depending on it. It didn't matter how scared or anxious he was(Which was a lot.) he has more important things to worry about now. And he just hopes that they can pull this off without a hitch. If only they were that lucky.   

      Lucky for them they had already figured out who was going to go in with and them and who was going to stay behind. It was decided that Seungcheol(Of course since he was the leader), Jeonghan, MingMing, Mingyu, Minghao, and Soonyoung would go in. He didn't want to risk bringing in all  of them for fear of it being too suspicious. So he decided on a smaller group of 5 to go in. He had given out a list of those who he wasn't going to allow to come, and from the pool that was left they were allowed to choose amongst themselves to figure it all out. He wouldn't let Jun, Doyoon, Dongjin, or Samuel go right off the bat. And he added to that list Chan (Who wasn't happy about that), Hansol, Seokmin, and Seungkwan. He knew that Joshua probably would want to stay behind for medical stand by and the couple of times that they got him to go out on a mission before he hated it, but he knew better than to try and take the choice away from him. Which as it turns out he was right about that. He also wasn't that fond of Jeonghan going as well, but he really didn't want another fight so he just kept his mouth shut this time. Both Jihoon and Wonwoo had opted to stay behind and offer tactical support from their tech room. But they trained Soonyoung and Minghao on how to download all of the files that they needed and upload the virus that they worked with Bangtan on. MingMing didn't get a choice since they were using him as bait and everyone else was a volunteer. 

            Seungcheol was walking down the hall when he almost got bulldozed over. He barely had time to recover to figure out who it was when he saw Mingyu barreling down the hall next and was barely able to get out of the way long enough to not get run over. "Sorry Hyung!" The younger called as he booked down the hall after the figure that he realized was Minghao. The leader had absolutely no idea what those two were up to, and he really didn't want to find out. So he just gave up and turned around to go find Soonyoung and Jihoon. He was already as stressed out as it is, he didn't want anything else to deal with on top of that. Minghao and Mingyu were adults, and they could handle their own problems. Hopefully. Seungcheol decided to leave before he changed his mind and ended up giving himself an annyersuism or something.

     After 4 hours of avoiding each other, Mingyu had enough. He wasn't going to let Minghao, and their relationship, whatever that is get away because of one stupid little kiss. (It wasn't stupid to Mingyu, but that didn't matter at the moment.) All that mattered was that they fix this before they go into this mission, that even though Mingyu doesn't like it, he knows that there's a greater chance that they aren't going to come back from this one. He knows that they're not supposed to think like this, and Mingyu hates thinking like this, but he can't help it this time. Kim and his men were dangerous, deadly, and ruthless. If they're anything like how MingMing described then who knows what's going to happen to them once all of this goes down. He hopes, just like the rest of them that they all make it out alive and well. But he's now stupid, he knows that there's just as good of, if not an even greater chance that shit is going to hit the fan and they'll are crash and burn along with it. And if that were to happen, Mingyu wants Minghao to know everything. That's the least he owed him after all of these years. He didn't expect him to do anything about it, he just wanted the younger to have the knowledge in case something bad were to happen. He knows that he's being paranoid as Wonwoo would call it but he doesn't care.
