With the Harpastum games ending on a good note, everyone else went back to their own solitude to prepare for the remaining days of the festival. Though before returning to the headquarters, Amber made sure to buy some dinner as thanks for accompanying her and Klee on the festival. It wasn't much but it did make you feel completely full with the amount of food she ordered.
Amber asked a favor if you could accompany Klee back home since she had other things to take care of. You complied, convincing her that Klee is in good hands.
"Thank you for playing with us!" Klee exclaimed, while hugging the stuffed grey wolf she won for Razor earlier. Her bedroom- for which she calls 'solitary confinement' is located right next to Jean's office for some odd reason. Right before she runs off, she turns to your direction. "Keep Mr. Cat safe!"
The prize she won for you is a stuffed orange cat. Klee thought that you might be lonely sometimes since Diluc is most likely busy during most of the days so she did her best to win the game booth in exchange for some company. A smile rises upon your lips due to Klee's kindness, you may not know her for a long time but you know that she has a good heart.
"Right then, I'll go ahead as well" Kaeya lets out a stiff yawn while stretching his arms. "Good night to the both of you then."
Before the cavalier captain could go on ahead, he looks at you from the side of his eye. This somewhat puts you on edge with how Kaeya weirdly acts around you. It's a good thing that Diluc is by your side, you shuffled uncomfortably right next to him after seeing Kaeya disappear to one of the rooms along the hallway.
"I should get going too.." you said, more like whisper. "What are your plans for the rest of the night, Diluc?"
I'm supposed to talk to you about something. Diluc thought to himself. During the past few days, he has been showing a lot of emotions lately. It seemed like he already lowered the walls he surrounded himself throughout the lonesome years that went by.
