Days filled with exhaustion had already passed by and you have slowly grown accustomed to your new life.
You still couldn't believe that your former, peaceful life is now out of reach as you were caught in a web of lies left by your mother who was hiding her identity for your whole life. Although you missed her, you'd feel rather safer in the headquarters with Mondstadt now that everything is getting clear.
You had found out that Venti and Zhongli's groups were called Archons. They don't usually tell them the name since it was supposed to be a secret since they both secretly left Celestia, your mother's association.
It took you some time before you trust both Zhongli and Venti, the ones who enlightened you with all of your mother's devilries. However, you still didn't know how she managed to wipe out an entire civilization.
The gentle sunlight filters through your window as your eyes flutter open. A gentle knock was heard from the other side of your wooden door, snapping you out of the train of thoughts you're thinking about and dragging you back to reality. The door gently swung open and there appeared a certain navy haired boy holding a tray of breakfast in his hands.
A small vase was also on the tray, along with a lone rose resting inside of it. That crimson rose seemed to be droopy, withering almost when a petal fell gently on the tray.
3 pieces of stacked pancakes was what you saw from afar with colorful berries scattering on top of it, mostly strawberries and blueberries. The smell of the sweet syrup and butter filled your room making your stomach grumble.
"Well someone's rather hungry.." Kaeya grinned and placed the tray on top of a small desk near your bed while you watched his movements, still sitting on top of your bed with the lower half of your body covered within a warm blanket. "Don't worry, I'll be quick."
Kaeya carefully pushed the berries that were on top of the pancakes causing it to gently fall down and bounce on the side of the plate. He delicately grabbed a metal butter knife from the side and gently took a piece of butter and placed that small piece on top of the pancake. That butter melted within the contact of the warm fluffy pancake and it spread all throughout the piece.
