(BROKEN; PROLOGUE)
IT HAD HAPPENED SO FAST, her world used to be perfect she had too loving parents who cared about her and a wonderfull house filled with so many memories, but of course bad things happen to good people.it had happened five days after her eighth birthday, her mom who had been driving home from her aunts had crashed into another veichcle. she had died quickly and with no pain, but the pain she left behind with her young daughter was double or even triple the amount any eight year old should carry.
her husband who had never really got drunk now spent most of his time in bars spending most of his wages on alcohol his favourite thing to take his pain out on was his daughter and she understanding that her dad was angry and needed to take his anger out on something never fought back.
taylor when she was eleven discovered the one thing she could loose herself in and forget the world, art, she had started drawing things around her she liked to draw scenery or really anything around her.
too say she was cracked was an understatement, taylor wasn't cracked, she was completely broken, but she didn't mind, pain reminded her of what she was, she was human and she would never have the rainbow if it never rained.
her bruses made her stronger and her cuts made her braver but still not brave enough to talk about what was happening in fact taylor barley spoke at all, the only time she would, would be to answer a teacher or make sarcastic remarks to the popular kids.
her freshman year of high school was the same as every year but it was when her sophomore year rolled around that everything changed thats when she met the captain of the beacon hills basketball and boy had she wished she met him sooner.
