as the weeks went by, hiding their secret from the twins got harder, they seemed to be every where at overtime, taylor and derek had no alone time it seemed like when ever they got away, the twins found them.
"HEY, DEREK"kate shouted from the opposite side of the corridor. derek and taylor rolled their eyes, used to kates attempts to get their attention and turned and smiled at the retched human being.
"hey kate"taylor said but kate ignored her eyes focused solely on derek."so derek i was wondering if you know you'd like to hang out sometime"she asked grasping his arm and smiling.
derek pried her hand off of his arm,"eh no thanks i, uh have a girlfriend"
kate glared at taylor it seemed as though kate wanted to get close to derek but not for the fact that she liked him but rather that she needed to get close to him.
taylor stopped at her locker quickly putting in her combination and opening it. she grabbed the books she needed and stuffed them in her bag, but as she did this a folded piece of paper slipped out and landed on the floor beside her feet.
she bent down and picked up the slip and opened it. the writing was in all caps.
'WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE AND WE WILL END YOU'
taylor gasped and dropped the note, it was the twins, it had to be the twins. nothing like this had every happened till they got her,
derek who's locker was on the opposite side of the hall, noticed her step back and immediately walked over to her."taylor are you okay" she didn't reply which scared derek,
he noticed the not of the floor and read it himself. he scrunched the paper in his hand and threw it into the trash can.
"listen Taylor it doesn't matter "her breath became ragged and quicker."derek that was a threat. your family are on danger"
"listen lets not jump to conclusions, okay it could just be an empty threat"
this brought taylor back to her senses."it was the twins i can tell, derek if it was them its most likely not an empty threat"
he could see her reasoning behind her thoughts but he needed to be rational right now becoming irrational would mean potentially shifting and thats something he didn't need right now.
he knew classes would be the only thing to distract them from the slip. too he took taylor by the hand and lead her to calculous.
derek was wrong, he thought the classes would distract them but nothing not even playing basketball could distract him from the threat left in taylor locker.he could tell thats all she could think about two as she wasn't drawing when he went to the art class after a very bad practise.
taylor couldn't draw she was to scared to get lost in her drawing, she feared that if she did she wouldn't hear the twins entering the room and hurting her. she was relieved when derek came and to get her.
"how was practise" she asked das she packed up her supplies. "it was okay, i coundnt really concentrate" he admitted he didn't like to le to taylor.
"same derek I'm actually really scared and not like i was with y father i mean petrified" he grabbed her hand.
"no one will ever hurt you i will make sure of that"

thalia was shocked that somethiglike that had happened, the argents had a code a code that they stuck by, their code was we hunt those who hunt us, none of them in this room had ever hurt a human so their code protected them.
the best solution thalia had was to have one person each night stay up and watch for any threat imposed on the house.
she also told every hale to keep an eye out for other threats the argents send.
taylor was till in shock anddidnt say much, thalia found this unusual but didn't press her finding a that was no easy problem to shoulder.
cora was so frightened, that her voice trembled when she spoke."are we safe" thalia had no answer, she wanted to measure her daughter but she also didn't want to lie to her.
"i don't know, but the best thing we can do is protect ourselves,so when a threat does come were ready for it"
peter who stood in the shadows stepped forward, "ill take first watch, if anyone even thinks of hurting this family i will kill them."
derek as surprised he'd never seen peter so angry. he was glad to say at this moment that peter was his uncle.
the hale family and taylor of course went to bed that night scared out of their minds, taylor tucked her duvet over her head and closed her eyes, sleep wouldn't come easy but she still hoped it would come, she need all the sleep she could get if she was going to protect her self and the hales from the threat the twins posed.
