"You woke up faster in that method."

It's been a month since our vacation in their hometown. Nandito pa rin ako sa unit niya dahil wala pa rin umuuwi sila Mommy mula sa kung saang bansa. My birthday passed without them and I celebrated it privately with Dimitri's family. There was no announcement of our engagement that day, which reliefs me.

Mom is no longer calling me. Instead, she's sending me texts and package of imported luxuries.

"Let's go out now. I might find myself between your legs again if we stay here." He chortled. Napailing ako.

He kissed my hair once again before standing up while carrying me like a kid, clinging in his neck. He's holding my butt while walking around to do fix some things. Ilang minuto pa bago ako bumangon mula sa pagkakasubsob sa leeg niya.
