On the last week of April, we decided to have our vacation back to Delavin's hometown. Nauna sila Alice at Arch kesa sa amin ni Dimitri dahil may tinapos pa si Dimitri sa school. Ang usapan ay isang linggo lang kami dito dahil may pasok pa ang dalawang lalaki.
"I'm glad that you're back here again, hija." Tita Alana kissed my cheeks.
"Just for a week lang po, Tita. Dimitri is busy with his academics so we need to go back immediately."
"You could stay here longer if you want—"
"No, Mom. She's going back with me." Masungit na sabat ni Dimitri na nasa likod ko.
Siniko ko siya ng mahina para sawayin. Nakasimangot na tinignan niya ako bago niya hinawakan ang pulso ko at hinila.
"Kung gusto niya lang naman, Dimitri." Masuyo at may bahid ng ngiti na pahabol ni Tita.
Tumigil si Dimitri sa pag-akyat para tignan si Tita. He look at me next and his brows furrowed. "Do you want to stay here?" Tanong iyon pero mukha siyang nagbabanta sa itsura niya.
"Do you want me to?"
"No." Mabilis na sagot niya. "You came here with me, so you will come home with me." At muli niya akong hinila paakyat.
Nakatulog ako pagdating ko sa kuwarto. We didn't ride in a chopper today. We took a plane and I'm so exhausted. Napagod akong maglakad at umupo lalo na't kakatapos ko lang sa period ako. Yesterday was my last day.
Nagising ako sa malakas na katok sa pinto. I grunt and lazily get up to open the door. Bumungad sa akin si Alice na malaki ang ngiti.
"Tara na!" Tinulak niya ako ng mahina at sinara ang pinto.
I let her drag me on the bathroom and she even stripped my clothes! Tinutulak ko siya palabas pero kinikiliti niya ako kaya umaatras ako. I'm naked while she's teasing me about my womanhood that she called bald vagina!
"Bakit kasi walang buhok 'yan?" Turo niya sa kitty ko.
"I don't know! Maybe because I'm just eighteen?"
"That's stupid! I have hair down there like a damn forest!"
"What? Bakit ako, wala?" I look at my kitty. "Is this not normal? Do I have illness? Am I going to die?!" I started to panic.
Binato niya ako ng bra ko na hawak niya. "Gaga, that's advantage! Sana all kalbo ang kipay."
"Alice!" Namula ako ng sobra sa term niya. "That term is embarrassing." For me, okay?
I was born in what my mother called 'perfection', so I'm not use to those kind of words that can often be heard in streets. I don't have a problem about the word but its making me feel weird. Parang bawal siyang sabihin o marinig? Again, that view is just for me.
"Why?" Tumawa siya sa reaksyon ko. "You have kipay kaya bakit ka nahihiya?"
"Can't you just say womanhood? It's better."
"Pilipina ka kaya kipay 'yan." At humagalpak siya ng tawa.
Ngumiwi lang ako at pumasok na sa shower room. Akala ko titigilan niya na ako kaya nagulat ako ng paglabas ko sa shower room ay nasa bathtub siya at nagbababad. Tumayo lang siya ng matapos ako at pumasok siya sa shower room. I'm putting my skincare ng lumabas siya sa shower room.
"Isuot mo 'yun." Nginuso niya ang nasa gilid ko.
Nanlaki ang mata ko ng makitang may white and pastel pink bikinis doon.
