(Hailey's p.o.v)
I drearily walk down the hallway to my locker.

It was nice to let out my built-up emotions and I felt a little better now. But still sad.

I hope things went well for Milly. But how are we going to be able to trigger his memories?

Jake's friends most likely know by now and they're probably going to try to stop us.

I open my locker, get my phone out, and open Luke's contacts.

Hailey - How are things going with Milly?

Luke - Good, we think we found a way to trigger her memories.

Hailey - That's great!

Luke - How are you feeling?

Hailey - Better, I guess.

Luke - That's good to hear. I gotta go though, ttyl.

Hailey - Yeah, ttyl.

I sighed and close my locker.  Luke is unavailable right now. Guess I have to figure something out on my own.

I should go look for him.

I slipped my phone into my pocket and began down the hallway again, stopping to check each classroom.

Yet, there was no sign of him.

He must have left.

This is hopeless.

He forgot everything.

Which means he's gone back to being one of our bullies.

And I'll have to see him every day.

And remember how happy we were.

As a family.

And never get to tell him the truth.

About how I feel.

I looked down and hugged myself.

What's the point in trying?

His friends will do everything they can to stop us. They'll laugh at our attempts and look down on us more. And they'll accomplish it.

They'll stop us.

He'll forget everything.

Because we only have one day.

One day to bring everything back.

How are we supposed to do that?

Then I hit something and fell to the ground.

(Drew's p.o.v)
I was walking down the hall while scrolling through Instagram on my phone.

I wonder if Jake ever convinced his freak friends to play that paranormal game with him.

He tried to convince the guys and me first. But we told him it was dumb and probably fake.
