Round 10

Chapter 3

(Luke's p.o.v)
I reached my hand out and placed it on his head. And well, started petting him.

"Luke what are you-" he started then stopped all of a sudden. He looked surprised but leaned into me.

He closed his eyes.

Then I heard it.

A soft, raspy sound.

"Z-Zander," I stuttered and began to blush.

"Why'd you stop?" he asked.

"Did you just," I paused, "purr?"

His eyes flew open and his face flushed.

"I- well- I- er, uh- maybe?" He stuttered.

I smirked then continued to pet him.

He closed his eyes and leaned into me again.

I sat in silence with him, though not complete silence. But it didn't take long before my mind began to wonder.

I was alone with him.

In his room.

He was purring...

And laying his head on my chest.

I could feel my heart beating in my throat.

Just us.

Me...

My face flushed even more.

And Zander...

Alone.

The boy that I've liked since middle school and loved since the beginning of Highschool.

We don't have moments like these often.

Where it's just us.

"Zander," I moved my hand from the top of his head to cup his face.

He looked up at me.

"Y-yeah?" He asked.

We were silent, just staring into each other's eyes.

Then slowly his face got closer to mine.

Closer...

And closer...

And closer...

Until I could feel his breath on my face.

(A/n; that escalated quickly.)

I bit my lip for a second...

Then tilted my head to the side a bit.

This was finally happening.

Thanks to this game, this was finally happening. I'll have to thank Jake later!

His eyes closed and so did my mine.

I moved my hand to the back of his neck to pull him closer.

"BOYS!!!" His mother called from outside of Zander's room. We both jumped back.

DAMN IT!

"Dinner is here," His mother tapped on the door.

"Okay, we'll be down in a sec," Zander responded and looked at the door as though he was looking at his mother.

He looked back at me then at the ground.

"You say a word about me purring and I'll claw your skull in half," Zander said with his usual tsundere attitude.
