(Luke's p.o.v)
I closed Zander's laptop and put it back in his bag. Now, I am just sitting here, not sure what to do.

I'm not tired anymore, but I'm still on edge.

I let out a sigh and stood up.

Maybe I'll steal one of Zander's books? No, I'd feel bad if I don't ask first. But I don't want to wake him up again.

I look over at Zander and notice something.

Wait, is he...  shivering?

It isn't that cold in here. But then again, Zander has like, no body heat.

I sat down next to him, slipped off my jacket, and put it over him. I allowed my fingers to run through his hair as I started to space out.

"Luke?" A voice suddenly said sleepily.

"Yeah?" I asked and looked down at Zander.

"What are you doing?"

"Playing with your hair," I responded and moved a strand of hair away from his face.

Yeah, this is totally normal.

"Why?"

"It's soft," I chuckle.

He sat up.

"No, Zander go back to sleep," I said.

"But you're up," he said sounding slightly annoyed.

"Yes, because I can't go back to sleep."

"Then I don't want to go back to sleep either," He said stubbornly.

I chuckled then moved my hand to the top of his head.

"Luke, that isn't going to work anymore."

I gave a breathless laugh and began to pet him again.

He began to purr.

"Oh really now," I said smugly

"Oh shut up," he laughed and leaned into my hand.

"Can you gays be quiet," Milly suddenly said.

"Shut up and go back to sleep," Zander responded.

Milly surprisingly did as she was told. At first, she looked at him annoyed then closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

"That's the first," Zander laughed a little.

My cheeks began to warm a bit, his smile is so beautiful. Have I said that before?

"Luke, can you bring your sleeping bag over here?" Zander asked.

"Mhm," I stood up and grabbed the blanket that I was sleeping with. It wasn't exactly a sleeping bag, but it was the best thing Milly had left.

I laid out the blanket next to Zander.

"Good, now lay down," he said. I listened to him and laid down. He then grabbed my hand and put it back on his head. I began to pet him again and he smiled.

I noticed how far he had to stretch his hand back so that the handcuffs wouldn't hurt his wrist.

"I can move closer to you if you want."

"Eh!?" His face turned a bit red and his eyes widened.

"NO, not like that!" I shouted and Milly replied to it with a 'shh'. "I mean so you don't have to strain your arm."

He looked away, then back at me, then away again.

"Sure, if you want," he said and I could see the tiniest bit of blush on his face.
