Error's POV
The sound of clicking buttons and the TV were the only sounds that filled the room. I was completely silent as I was focused on the game that my online friends and I were playing. Ink wasn't available.
Today was Saturday so I didn't have to worry about waking up early and forcing myself to go to school.
The game I was playing with my friends was a first person shooter. Half of us on one team and the rest on the other. Not bragging but I was best among my online friends.
My phone suddenly chimed, telling me that I had a notification. I picked it up to look at it. I got a notification about a game that I wanted. It came out today.
I turned on my headset and told my friends that I was logging out. They said okay before going back to shooting each other.
After turning off my console, I rushed downstairs and out the front door. The game store wasn't far from here so I should be there in about two minutes.
I entered the gaming store to look for the game that was just released. I found the asile but I also saw something else, or someone. It was Ink and he looking at the same game that I was looking for.
Ink was wearing a loose brown sweater and his brown scarf. He was wearing black pants that had a rainbow strip running down the sides.
Ink noticed me out of his peripheral vision.
Ink: Oh Error. I didn't know you were here.
Me: Hey Ink. I must have walked into the wrong store.
Ink: Then why would you be so far back if you walked into the wrong one?
Me: ... Ok, you caught me. I came to get the new game that was released today.
Ink: You mean the new game where you cause chaos as a goose. It's right here.
Ink said as he pointed at the shelf in front of him. Sure enough, there was the game I was looking for. Picking up the case, I looked at the title.
Ink: You know...
My eyes moved up when I heard Ink's voice. His head was facing away from me but, there was rainbow blush on his cheeks.
Ink: That game is two player. Maybe... you want to come to my house... and play with me?
I almost dropped the game as I was shocked. Ink wanted to hang out with me, he asked first. I couldn't help but stare at him in total silence.
Ink's rainbow blush started to spread across his ink stained cheeks. I saw him begin to fiddle with his brown scarf.
Me: I would be happy to.
There was a faint smile on Ink's face before he walked to the counter to buy the new game. I followed after him to pay for the one that I was holding.
(Time Skip)
We arrived at Ink's home. Ink opened the door to let us in. There laying the middle of the living room, was Ginger. The brown dog jolted her head up when she saw me. She ran towards me and jumped onto me. This caused me to fall backwards.
Me: Hey girly.
Ink: Wow. Ginger loves you more than she loves me.
Ink mumbled as he put the game disc into the slot of the console. This caused me to laugh as I scratched the back of Ginger's ear. She was leaning her full body weight against me while licking my face.
I stood up and walked over to the couch with Ginger following close behind. There was a controller that was set up by Ink for me to use.
Ink: Do you want anything? Like to drink?
Me: No I'm fine. Thank you though.
Ink hummed before grabbing a water bottle to drink while we played the game. He sat closer to the opposite side of the couch which was understandable.
All of a sudden, Ginger jumped on the furniture and pushed Ink onto me. Now, most Ink's body was on top of me.
I could see the rainbow blush on Ink's cheeks begin to cover his face. He pushed himself up and scooted back to his side of the couch.
Ink: S-Sorry. Ginger can be too excited sometimes.
Me: It's okay.
I didn't bother hiding my blush but I did feel myself get a boner. I put a pillow on my lap to hide it.
For a few minutes, it was awkward but eventually we started talking once more. Now, we were laughing and playfully yelling at each other.
Ginger laid between us while resting her head against the pillow on my lap.
(Time Skip)
I never realized the time until I looked at my phone. It was around dinner time so I needed to get home.
Me: Thanks for having me over.
Ink was saying goodbye and I was heading out the door when Ginger took hold of my sleeve. She started pulling me back into Ink's house.
Me: I guess girly doesn't want me to leave.
Ink: You can stay for longer if you want. If that's okay with your family.
Me: My older brother is pretty strict on curfew but he's forgiving on the weekends. Besides, if he needed me home, then he can track me.
I thought for a second.
Me: Two more hours.
Ink and I went back to playing the game. This time, we felt a little more closer to each other.
The progress that I was making was definitely increasing. I was closer to getting Ink to like me. Once I was finished with that, I'll work on getting Ink to...
Fall in love with me
