There was a scary beast monitoring the hallway to the door. I had to find a way to get in there. There has to be a way. I searched around finding a way to see what I could do or use in order to get her. After searching around looking for a way I saw a long ladder that was away from the monster guarding the door. Seeing it, I ran up to it and it had a hole which led to the upstairs.. maybe that would take me to the queen? I strapped the portable oxygen tank to my back. I quickly climbed the ladder. Suddenly, my leg slipped and made a loud grinding noise against the metal ladder.

The guard cocked his head towards me. "Who's there?" He demanded. My palms started getting sweaty. I climbed up the ladder as fast as I could but the oxygen tank kept weighing me down. The guard caught me and raced towards the ladder. He started climbing the ladder to catch me. He was much faster than I was! I had no choice but to keep scaling up the ladder as fast as my body could go. The guard grasped my ankle quickly when one of my hands slipped from the high ladder. I yelped in fear and then more monsters and beasts noticed us. "GET HIM!" one of the guards screamed. They found out that I was going to get the queen and save her. I scrambled up the ladder and made it to the top and I found myself on the roof. The sun was shining but the clouds were fiery red. Distracted by the "beauty" of the fiery clouds as I saw the beasts coming for me.

Looks like I had more fish to fry.

I had to use my techniques I learned from Alastair. It was either fight for my life and the queens or die. The beasts and I punched, kicked, made heavy combat and for the first time.. I took a few of the monsters down. I felt so powerful.. like the hulk! I swung the sword I got from Alastair back and forth. The more I won, the less beasts were there. Inside I thanked for teaching me how to defend myself and do combat. Then, after the last beast, I ran to a peculiar hole in the roof and jumped in it to save the queen.

She was sitting in a jail cell with a numb look on her face. She had medium sized chains attached to her wrists. Her hair was pure black, and her face was beautiful. Her white dress rested below her knees with a golden belt to fasten her dress. I walked up to the enchanting woman and she looked at me in fear. I comforted her and said, "Your majesty, you're going home". I bowed down and she looked at me surprisingly.

"Who are you, how did you get here?".

I quickly gave her an explanation and tried to pull the chains that were attached to her."The chains have a key lock that is over there" She moved her neck and head forwards and I saw the stained metal key.  I picked up the large and heavy key, and fastened it into the chain. After turning it several times with all the strength I had, the lock on the chain opened. I observed Chiara's wrists were red from the chains as I led her out from the prison. Just as we were about to escape successfully, a melodic voice came from the distance.

Then, a tall, elegant looking creature appeared out of the darkness. She looked like a Bedalian but she had white angelic hair instead of a dismal gray. "Step away from my prisoner or I will have your head." the woman said.  She held a golden spear against my chin and stared at me with her piercing yellow eyes. I gulped. Come on Kace, think of something.

I looked down at my sword. I pulled it out swiftly and lunged in to stab the woman.

She dogged it and grinned. "Is that the best you can do? This is the queen you're talking to." She swiftly moved to the back of me and put her arm around my neck. "Give me my prisoner, or you die." She said as she inched the spear closer to my neck. My whole body was shaking. I quickly remembered a strategy Alastair had taught me. I elbowed her stomach and was released from her grasp. "I don't think so Morana," I remarked. She held her stomach in pain. Morana gritted her teeth and raised her sword to strike me. I redirected her attack to miss me. We clashed swords. I kept dodging her attacks and she kept dodging mine. My oxygen tank was quickly running out but I wasn't paying attention. Suddenly Morana backed me up against the edge of a cliff. Morana held her spear towards my chest. "Goodbye Kace." Morana sneered. My feet kept inching towards the edge. If I can't save myself, at least I can save Queen Chiara. Just as I was about to fall off I yelled, "CHIARA GET IN THE PLANE!" Queen Chiara knew exactly what to do and started the plane immediately. Morana looked back in horror.

"You.." Morana snarled and pushed me off the cliff. My oxygen tank fell off as I plummeted to the ground. I quickly began to lose my breaths. I wish I had done things differently. In that moment, all my memories came flooding back to me.

...

Then suddenly everything went black.
