Beomgyu was seated in the library, serenely reading a novel in which he had found spontaneously, finding its strangeness compelling. The novel appeared tattered, the cover frayed and discolored from its age. Although its worn-out demeanor was apparent, he couldn't help his infatuation with the book, observing its pages in great detail. His concentration on the novel was broken when his phone vibrated, signaling to him that he had received a text. Glancing to his right, he read it out, 'meet me outside,' in which Beomgyu obliged. He snapped the book closed, returning it to the shelf as he exited the building. Immediately once he did so, he spotted a familiar face to the left of the doorway and walked over to them.
"Beommie, I missed you!" They warmly greeted, wrapping their arms around Beomgyu in a hug.
"Young-Soo, what are you doing here?" Beomgyu asked in return, pulling away from the hug in a confused manner.
"I wanted to see you," Young-Soo frowned, holding onto Beomgyu's hands, "you spend more time in the library and the park than you do with me."
"...Sorry," Beomgyu replied, staring dejectedly at the ground.
"That's all my little Beomgyu can say? Why do you have to be so insensitive?" Young-Soo questioned, gripping onto the brunette's hands tighter.
"B-but, I didn't—I wasn't—" Beomgyu stuttered, a slight annoyance in his tone.
Suddenly, Young-Soo's entire tone shifted, "Beommie, don't be angry, you know I didn't mean it," he whined, giving Beomgyu puppy-dog eyes.
Beomgyu was unsure of how to react, he was used to his boyfriend's unexpected mood changes, but even so, he always was fearful of saying the wrong thing. He knew what angering Young-Soo meant, so he often said very little, if anything at all. Although, his silence at that time would lead to his downfall.
He then felt a pair of lips harshly lock onto his, barely giving him time to process what was happening. He tried to pull away, but Young-Soo's grip had shifted from Beomgyu's hands to his shoulders, essentially keeping him in place. Although he was quite uncomfortable, he still barely moved in an attempt to not upset Young-Soo. That is until he felt both of his hands slither to the bottom hem of his top, eventually snaking their way underneath roughly. Beomgyu winced, feeling the other's hands grip at him harshly, unwelcoming as they roamed around Beomgyu's unexposed skin. In his panicked state, he then shoved Young-Soo away, falling to the ground shakily.
"What the hell, Beomgyu?" He growled, his glare burning into the brunette who was quivering on the ground.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I j-just didn't like it—"
"God, let me do it just one time, okay?" Young-Soo pestered, irritatingly crossing his arms.
"But Young-Soo, I d-don't want to," Beomgyu fought back the tears that threatened to fall, trying to keep his composure against the intimidating figure lingering over him.
"It's not a big deal, stop overreacting," he grumbled, forcibly pulling Beomgyu back up to his feet by his forearm. His tone shifted once more, attempting to guilt Beomgyu into doing his bidding, "Beommie, you wouldn't want to disappoint me, would you?"
Beomgyu could barely comprehend his emotions, and in doing so kicked Young-Soo in the knee as hard as he could. In the spur of the moment, he shoved him back as well, refusing to look back as he sprinted down the street, the shouts and yelling of Young-Soo trailing off further and further until they were gone completely. He found himself already running in the direction of the park, almost subconsciously deciding to go there as his thoughts jumbled together, his mind numb and his legs sore from the sudden sprinting. Hiding behind the tree directly next to the swingset, his heartbeat resounded in his ears, and his breath was jagged and abrupt. Sitting with his back against the tree trunk, he placed a hand over his heart, feeling as though it were about to explode out of his chest. Managing to catch his breath, he closed his eyes, resting his head against the tree behind him. He made a decision that he was never going to trust anyone like that ever again, making that encounter the last one he ever had with his boyfriend, Young-Soo.

"So... That's what happened..." Beomgyu sighed, expecting Taehyun to completely get rid of him after hearing about his past.
"God, Beomgyu, I'm so sorry, I—I didn't know," Taehyun held onto Beomgyu tighter, wanting to take all of his pain away, "you don't deserve to be treated like that... I swear, if I ever saw that piece of shit I'd—"
"Tae," Beomgyu interrupted, slightly pulling away from the hug to lock eyes with Taehyun, "It's okay now, I promise. I haven't seen him in a long time, so you don't have to worry."
"Sorry, I just..." He shook his head, realizing his temper was getting the best of him, "I just want to protect you, Gyu. I don't want you to be scared like that ever again."
Beomgyu smiled in return—the softest, sweetest smile that Taehyun had ever seen, "thank you, Tae."
Without warning, Beomgyu cupped Taehyun's cheeks in his hands, framing his face delicately. He moved forward, closing the already minuscule space between them. His lips fell softly onto Taehyun's, his eyes fluttering close in the process. His fingers felt heavenly on Taehyun's skin, gentle and caring, something that made the blonde melt in his touch. He pulled away momentarily, his hands still residing on the latter as he watched Taehyun's face tint a shade of red.
"Does this mean you forgive me?" Taehyun asked jokingly, placing his own hand on top of Beomgyu's.
"Yeah, I do," he giggled back, staring into Taehyun's dark eyes, which were glistening with admiration.
"I'm so glad, I really thought you were going to be mad at me forever," he replied radiantly; immediately after a devious glint shone in his gaze.
Taehyun then shifted forward, causing Beomgyu to fall backward onto the bed on his back, followed by the blonde plopping next to him. He pulled the brunette into a cuddling position, his arms wrapped around his chest as Beomgyu placed his hands on top of them, feeling Taehyun's warm breath on the back of his neck.
"Kang Taehyun, I like you," Beomgyu confessed, his hands gripping tighter onto Taehyun's.
The younger brought Beomgyu even closer to himself, now being able to hear the older's heartbeat as it thumped rather quickly against his ribcage. He only smiled, nuzzling into the nape of Beomgyu's neck.
"I like you too."
