Beomgyu pulled a snack out of the cupboards in the kitchen, returning to an empty sofa which cozily fit in the corner of the living room. He sat with his back against one of the arm rests, his legs stretched across the entire couch as they hung over the other end. He swung them back and forth absentmindedly, a lollipop dangling in his mouth, and his hair a frizzy brown mess. His phone became his only distraction as he waited for Taehyun to return from grocery shopping, a small pout forming onto his lips as his never-ending boredom grew.
Although, Beomgyu staying over at Taehyun's house was not out of the ordinary, since he found himself spending most of his time there anyway. Even if he was there by himself, he still preferred it over being at his own home. He knew that Taehyun would always return, and once he did they could spend the rest of the day together, doing whatever they wanted to. Beomgyu smiled to himself as he imagined all the things that they could do, like possibly watching a movie, or playing video games—along with other things that weren't so... Innocent.
His impure thoughts were abruptly interrupted as the front door opened, revealing a humming Taehyun as he brought in the few bags of groceries he was carrying. As he walked to the kitchen and placed them on the counter, he heard small footsteps approaching him from behind. He hardly had any time to react to the noise, as he felt Beomgyu's arms wrap around his torso in the same instant.
"Tae, you were gone for so long," Beomgyu nuzzled his face into the blonde's shoulder, the lollipop stick he had in his mouth slightly poking Taehyun as he did so.
"Was I?" Taehyun asked, placing his own hands on top of Beomgyu's, "I'm sorry Gyu, I tried to get back as quickly as I could."
The brunette didn't say anything in return, he just kept holding onto Taehyun as if his life depended on it. He brought himself as close as he could to the younger, slightly squishing Taehyun in the hug due to his unwavering grip, "Gyu, are you mad at me?" He tried to remove himself from the hug, but Beomgyu still wasn't letting go. No matter how much Taehyun pushed the latter's hands away, they still clung onto him tightly, "why aren't you saying anything?"
"Because," Beomgyu finally spoke, pulling away from the hug. Taehyun turned to face the older, spotting his furrowed eyebrows and crossed arms.
"Because why?" He questioned, stepping forward as Beomgyu took a step back, "Gyu, what's wrong?"
Taehyun continued to approach the brunette, but only got steps back in reply. Although, Beomgyu eventually got himself backed up against the wall, which rendered him now defenseless and unable to escape the questioning blonde in front of him. He stuck his tongue out childishly, slightly embarrassed at the fact that he had accidentally bumped into the surface behind him.
"Well, if you won't talk to me then I'll just have to get you to talk," Taehyun then reached for the lollipop, tearing it away from the brunette's lips as he brought the candy to his own mouth.
"Hey, that's mine!" Beomgyu shouted, trying to take it back, but Taehyun was biting down on the stick, trapping the lollipop in his mouth, "give it back, Tae."
Taehyun only shook his head in return, a small smirk appearing on his face as he did so. The older sighed, his eyes darting to the floor, "okay, I'll talk, just give it back."
The blonde chuckled at his successful plan, removing the lollipop from his mouth and waving it in front of Beomgyu. The brunette opened his mouth to try and catch the moving candy, but failed to do so. Instead of getting the lollipop, he got met with Taehyun's lips instead, a subtle taste of blue raspberry on them.
"Hey, you were supposed to give the lollipop back!" Beomgyu huffed after the surprise kiss, trying to appear annoyed but the rosiness on his face said otherwise.
"I know, here, you can have it back now," Taehyun finally returned the lollipop, ruffling Beomgyu's hair once he did so, "now go wait in the living room and I'll be right in after I put these groceries away."
Trying to find an excuse to stay longer, he replied with, "um, well, are you sure? Do you want me to help?"
"If you want to," Taehyun smiled, turning away to begin placing the groceries in their respectable place.
Beomgyu unconsciously bit his lip after seeing Taehyun's enchanting smile, although quickly shook his head to rid of his distracting thoughts. He began helping the blonde return things to their proper place, trying to catch glimpses of his features every so often. He had been quite successful, since Taehyun didn't mention Beomgyu's staring at any point during their time putting away groceries. After successfully placing everything away, Beomgyu tossed the now eaten lollipop into the garbage, the stick clattering noisily against the bottom of the metal trash can. He then grabbed Taehyun by the wrist and dragged him into the living room, pushing the blonde onto the couch rather roughly. With no time to spare, he sat on top of Taehyun's lap, wrapping the latter into a hug.
"Someone's clingy today," Taehyun joked, his hands gently caressing the brunette's hair.
Beomgyu only rested his head on Taehyun's shoulder, nuzzling into him warmly. He closed his eyes, only then realizing how tired he truly felt. They remained in that position for a long while, a comfortable silence between them. Taehyun then decided to play with the brunette's frizzy mop of hair, the softness of it intertwined with Taehyun's fingers was unimaginable—the younger couldn't believe that it could be so fluffy. He then felt the older pull himself as close as he could into the hug, relaxed with how gently Taehyun was playing with his hair. Beomgyu fought to keep his eyes open, wanting to bask in the moment for just a little while longer. Although he was quickly defeated by tiredness as he fell asleep, with his head in the crook of Taehyun's neck. The blonde soon followed after, with their arms wrapped around each other as they slept the afternoon away.
